    Although this updated version of the PopSocket does everything the old version did, it does one more thing. It comes loose from the base without me intending it to, or wanting it to. This is another example of the 'improvement' being the opposite. I will end up gluing the popping part onto the base. I highly recommend the original version. It has been a big convenience to me. - Steve

    Overall it does what is says, but it's weak when I use it as a stand to prop up phone to watch a video. It's sometimes collapses if it's not on a perfrctly flat surface.
