Customers find value in the PopMount 2 Ride's functionality for scooters and bicycles. However, some users express concerns regarding the mount's durability and sturdiness, citing issues with the rubber components and overall structural integrity. Several reviews mention the mount feeling flimsy and not lasting very long. Improvements in the mount's robustness would likely enhance customer satisfaction.

This mount will damage your phone

Literally the absolute worst phone holder you can buy. This mount has caused my phone to pop off and shatter. The rubber corner holders do not stay on at all and cannot handle a leisurely bike ride. The pop socket holder is not a secure right fit either and combined with the rubber straps that slip off makes for a waste of a mount. Don’t even try to ride using one of these. You can get the rubber straps on, but they will come off while you ride, sending your phone flying off and shattering.

Almost lost my phone at 60+mph and almost caused me to wreck. I just barely caught the phone in time before it fell completely off the bike 2.5 months is all it lasted garbage mount. Save yourself the potentially broken phone/bones. Go a different route.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with your Ride and Scouter Mount and understand your frustration. The mount should certainly secure your phone and not fall off your bike. This can happen if a phone is too heavy or the Mount is not tightened enough. Please contact us at cs@popsockets and we'll try to get to the bottom of what caused this to happen and we'll find a solution for this issue.

I didnt like how it holds the phone, its hard to stay in place and it even looses its grip and dropped my phone to the ground (thank God I have a good case for my iPhone)… i am hoping that it will get better once the silicone rubber gets broken in (hoping) that it will adjust to the way it holds the puine… but so far? I do not like it…

Don't waste your money. The rubbers aren't sturdy enough. Try several models and the fall off the mount.

Finally a way to keep my phone handy on my bike. I use this on my Harley. The anchor points keep the phone in place. Great idea. Another reason I love PopSocket!
