hard to find 80s comedy cult classic great presentation and good features

I love these 80's movies. They bring back great memories. Porky's is such a fun and funny movie. It may not be for everyone, esp. Kids.

OK, this movie is a little dated, a little mysoginistic, and very disrespectful to minorities. But it was made during a simpler time, when PC didn't mean either of the things that it means now. Be glad you can even still purchase this movie, let alone that it's been remastered in HD. A young Kim Catrall in HD? The shower scene in HD? This movie was the first time I had ever seen, or heard, a lot of things. For me, the memories alone are worth the price of admission, and I got this off the shelf for $7.99. Get yours now, before movies like this are irradicated from existence. I'd grab up the American Pie movies next. Just sayin'...

this is an awesome classic movie. it always makes me laugh.

I actually think this is about a 4.5 star movie but alas, I gave it 5 because I just can't quite go 4. Low budget flick. Hardly anyone you have ever seen both before and after this movie (except Kim Cantrell who was a nobody when this was made). Teens, partying (and all that implies), teachers, cops, bar thugs & conflict, pretty typical except better. This flick has 2 of the most killer funny scenes ever. If you haven't seen it, sit down & watch this cheap, guilty pleasure & be surprised.

Porky's was one of the low-brow comedy classics in the same vein as Animal House. It's showing its age a bit, but still has many solid laughs. Overall, its a silly story about a bunch of high school kids and their antics and ultimately their revenge on Porky, the owner of a local bar who abused them. This ain't Shakespeare, but it is pretty fun.

First time viewer and must say Porky's was a fun film to view that brought me back to the 80's Over the film looks great on blu-ray and I recommend the buy. The story was fun and I cant believe I have never seen this film before. Buy it now, or wait till Best Buy throws a sale. Ether way its worth it.

One of my favorite comedies from the eighties. A really funny movie. My favorite scene is when Ms,. Ballbreaker is discussing the peephole incident in the girls locker room with the principal and the other teachers are laughing in the background. I rewind can watch and that scene over and over.

fun old age teenploitation film , humorous and with some heart and a enjoyable story , be aware it is rated R for a reason ( gratuitous sex and nudity )

As of writing this review this is not available for purchase thru any of the streaming services to own. The blu ray looks great

This is a fun movie, although I found some of the characters grating over the course of the film. It didn't take a lot away from the overall experience, and is still worth checking out if you're a fan of 80s comedies.

Porky's is probably the source for the teenage raunchy comedy genre. Without Porky's I don't think its resurgence could've happened. Movies like American Pie, Euro Trip, & Girl Next Door should pay homage.

Porky’s was one of my first CED discs. They were out when VHS Players were very expensive. My brother and I loved Porky’s then, but it looks awesome on Blu Ray! This is a must have if you like the genre.

I viewed this movie orginially in 1972 and had a great laugh, but this blu-ray is exceptional color and sound effects so realistic. The plot of movie was great with plently of times to laugh.

This is a classic from the 80s finally brought to HD. The only thing that would have made this better was to include the other two movies from the series and maybe digital copies of all three.

a classic PFP funny movie, outrageous situations you only dreamt you could get away with in high-school. not modified for contemporary political correctness, watcher beware.

This has a lot of funny gags in it , but its not for small children or some adults maybe. But its still some good fun
