This speaker is a great size, easy to use and pair with your devices. The charge last for a long time, and it sounds very good and clear even at a higher volume. Very glad I bought this speaker.

Excellent speaker for the sale price. Very clear sounding. Smaller and much louder than I expected. While it doesn't have a ton of bass, it has enough and doesn't sound like cheap junk.

The Insignia offers good sound quality at a surprisingly loud volume for the size. It is louder than a couple of much bigger speakers that I have. Very lightweight and portable.

Nice size and color. Holds charge well. Easy to connect. Sounds good even when turned up. The only bad thing is you have to disconnect from one device to connect to another.

I purchased the Insignia bluetooth speaker on Black Friday because of the good price ($12.99) and the recommendation of a sales associate. He said he had one and it had amazing quality for its size and price. I bought one for myself, and one as a gift, and I agree with his opinion. Advantages are the price, quality of sound especially for voice (podcasts, audiobooks, etc) and ok for music, very quick connectivity (better than all my other speakers), portability (small and lightweight), and loudness. I would recommend the unit for its niche. I also have the large Harmon Kardon (my best and better than Bose), a Sony, and Jambox bluetooth speakers.

I work overnight and wanted something to listen to podcasts and music on while at the desk. This little speaker does a great job, it has adequate bass and gets plenty loud for an office environment. Typically I only need it at about 25% volume to hear it just fine. The Bluetooth pairs flawlessly with my phone and I find the battery lasting through my nine hour shift just fine. I got it for 13 dollars on clearance and it’s well worth the money. Also I won’t be upset if it goes “missing” at the office since it’s not breaking the bank. All in all, I would recommend it for casual or office use.

I was pleasantly happy with the sound of this little speaker. Don't expect booming bass, but for the size, portability and rechargeable battery, you can't go wrong.

This speaker goes on sale all the time and when it does, you can't beat the value. I picked it up on Black Friday for a steal. It connects to multiple phones through bluetooth easily, is louder and better sounding than my phone speakers,and is easy to carry around. Is it the best sounding thing I've ever listened to? No, but you can't expect it to. Hopefully this updated version lasts longer than my previous Insignia Speaker like this, where the charging port became temperamental before refusing to charge at all, making the whole speaker useless. I've got high hopes for this one, but only time will tell.

It provides great sound from within 30 ft of your device. It is light weight enough to be portable (ie carry it in your bag) but it's rubber feet make it stable enough that it won't topple over wherever you place it. I use it to stream podcasts or music from Pandora etc and the sound quality is fantastic whether listening to an interview or music. It's volume control buttons are powerful enough that I rarely use the highest setting. It's battery lasts quite long too as I only charge once per week and it charges quickly.

I was looking for a Bluetooth device such as this for a long cross country trip in a rental truck and this Bluetooth speaker worked rather well. Connected up to my iPhone 6 easily and instead of listening to the AM/FM radio from Phoenix, AZ to West Virginia, I was able to listen to Pandora and Spotify for the during the trip. In addition to the Bluetooth, I used the Aux port on the speaker for my iPod. Speaker was loud enough to hear so giving this a good review. Luckily the truck had a USB charging port so that kept the battery charged. Good, inexpensive and solid portable speaker setup.

It is a good speaker for an affordable price. I'm happy with my purchase. The sound is clear. It is small and light weight that is easy to carry when you travel .

This speaker has fabulous sound and is so easy to connect to blue tooth. I like the controls on the top - very easy to use. The price was very reasonable

I bought this to give to my kids so they could listen to music while they clean their rooms. It gets pretty loud and plays music with some clarity. It doesn't do bass really well, and can get distorted when it gets too loud. But considering what you pay for it, that should be expected. I think it's a good value for what you pay (especially if you catch it on sale like I did for $12.99). They're not going to compete with Bose or even close to it, so keep that in mind. But if you're like me and listen to podcasts while watching dishes or giving them to small kids, they're a good purchase.

I own 5 different Bluetooth speakers. I love music and am always looking for a speaker with good sound, battery life, and features. The Insignia speaker was an unbelievable price and the reviews for it helped me justify the purchase. The battery life is very good and it's small enough to easily carry. The USB charging is helpful, though you need to provide your own cable and charger. The sound is good, but there's no deep bass or high trebles. This would do well in a small area or as a speakerphone. For the price, it's a nice speaker, though not as good as those by other manufacturers.

Decent sound quality, easy to use. Inexpensive and dependable. Great for a second wireless speaker to use for camping or patio etc. Good battery life.

This little speaker is wonderful! it gives a nice loud enough to hear sound, was very easy to connect to my phone. The small sleek shape makes it easy to carry with you, and using it can be made less obvious if you want that kind of ambiance, which I do. As a massage therapist, I have tried many expensive brands of speakers, and this one is on the top of my fave list! good sound, fantastic quality for the price! i no longer want to invest in "name brand" fancy speakers -- i just want something to sound good and work...this does!

can output reasonable volume for the size and fairly clear sound. bass is clearly lacking though. overall decent speaker for the price

Best Buy has had this speaker on sale several times lately. Although it is not waterproof like its counterpart unless your using in a bathtub or swimming pool or pouring rain do you really need to pay that extra money? This speaker has decent sound, volume level is medium, which for the size is fine. For the price I paid($9.99) I consider that a great deal for this speaker. It's not as good as the better brand name speakers but for what I use it for it does the trick. Battery when fully charged lasts quite a long time.
