Tech took a while but did an amazing job very pleased

I've had the Geek Squad staff at the Champaign, IL Best Buy install multiple audio, video, and other upgrades to my two vehicles over the years. The Champaign, IL Best Buy staff are super great at what they do. To me it's well worth paying to have them install anything I buy from Best Buy, and they've also started to be able to have certain items purchased from other retailers installed by Geek Squad too. I've had double din head units, single din flipout head units, speaker amps, sub amps, speakers, subs, sub boxes, remote starts, power caps, backup cameras, dash cameras (front and rear), custom sub boxes, additional audio/video cables, fuses, upgraded car batteries (gotta be able to power all this stuff, right?!?!?!?), and an interior lighting piece installed by the Champaign, IL Geek Squad staff. Everything has been done so professionally and knowledgeably. They're patient and helpful, and they take the time to get to know me. It's also nice knowing that I can drop by anytime to ask questions. It's also nice that in the rare instances when there has been a problem with something, I can take the cars to them and they'll take the time to solve the problem at no additional cost. This is extremely helpful as speakers, subs, head units, amps, etc. end up getting to the point where their warranties run out. Geek Squad will install the new replacement stuff at no additional charge. I often run into customers asking the Geek Squad guys for advice because those customers are trying to save a few dollars by doing their own installs. The Geek Squad guys are friendly and give the advice, but it still seems to be a huge waste of time for the customers who don't actually know what they're doing. They end up coming back over and over again, and they sometimes end up doing serous damage to their vehicles and/or stuff they're trying to install themselves because they're not experts (even with the advice given by the Geek Squad staff). Some things are worth paying for, and getting something properly installed to me is definitely worth the price. Hope this helps. Thanks. Matthew 7:12

These guys took out my old stereo put a new one in with GPS back up camera they also installed the back up camera incredible job everything looks like it belongs right where it is thanks guys

Workers helped me pick out the correct radio for my vehicle. Very professional, even called to inform me there was an earlier slot available.

They installed a PORTABLE GPS/RADAR DETECTOR ??? I didn’t ask for that, but thank u for sure. I just wanted my RF subs hooked up to my new RF amp and they did that. But now , even when the car is not on, the speaker buzzes??? I called geek squad and they told me to bring it in on the scheduled date they gave me. I appreciate geek squads time and effort and how they can still fit us in and see us when we have a problem , even through tough times in this pandemic and epidemic plague we got going on. Thank u

Lupe is the best. know how to communicate with the customer and very helpful for all the stuff that you need in your car and explain everything that the customer need to know about the product.
