I've had the ATOM 2 for about a week, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The built-in screen on the controller is the biggest win—no need to use my phone, deal with cables, or worry about notifications popping up while flying. Setup took less than 2 minutes out of the box. The drone feels very stable in the air, even with a light breeze. The 4K video looks sharp, and the gimbal keeps footage smooth enough for travel videos and family clips. GPS lock is fast, and Return-to-Home worked perfectly during my tests. The Fly More Combo is worth it for the extra batteries alone. I can get several flights in without waiting for a recharge, and the included bag keeps everything organized. For the price, this feels much more premium than I expected. If you're looking for a portable drone that's easy for a beginner but still has features that more experienced users will appreciate, I'd definitely recommend the ATOM 2 Screen Remote Fly More Combo.

I looked at a few of the more popular drone brands before choosing the Potensic Atom 2, and honestly, this one gives you a lot for the price. The 4K Auto HDR footage is smooth, the 8K photos are sharp, and it’s easy to pack and bring along. One thing I really like is that when I crop horizontal footage into a vertical format, the image still looks clear and detailed. Features like AI Track, panorama mode, Dolly Zoom, and smart transfers to my phone were just the cherry on top. As for cons, no major cons for me. I just wish it had the obstacle detection feature but it’s isn’t that big of a deal for me since I only fly in open spaces. For the price, I’m very happy with the quality and features of this drone.

TL;DR I love this drone and it's fantastic! Honestly there's not a lot of bad things I can say about this drone. I know that it's a first time user type drone but for the price point in my opinion it's very nice! I know that there are better drones out there such as the DJI line but I think this drone is great for first time users such as myself. It's ready to go right out of the box, all you have to do is calibrate the gimbal and the controller and pair the drone to the controller and you're ready to go. There's even video tutorials built into the system depending on which remote you use. The Ptd1 is the one I used other models have you use your phone but either way I am getting more comfortable with this drone everyday and honestly I am very impressed! I did have an issue with the remote controller where the screen stopped working but I returned it to Best Buy and they exchanged it on the spot and I was able to transfer my potensic care package over to the new drone simply by unbinding my previous drone and binding my new drone with the serial number to the package. I love all the features that this drone has I feel like it's built very well. I can't say enough about the amazing quality of the photos and videos that I have shot with this and the smart transfer feature to move your media to your smartphone is extremely simple or you can just use the SD card and drag and drop files from the SD card to your computer or laptop. All in all I highly recommend this drone for it's simplicity, fun factor, and user friendliness.

I wasn't expecting this level of quality at this price. The camera is sharp, stable flight, great video, and the screen controller is a nice bonus. For the price, it's hard to beat.. Highly recommended.

It shoots sharp 48MP photos, smooth 4K HDR video, and uses a 3‑axis gimbal that keeps footage stable even in moderate wind. The PTD‑1 smart controller is the real upgrade—no phone needed, faster setup, and a stronger signal. Flight time is solid with the Fly More Combo’s extra batteries, and AI tracking works well for simple follow‑shots. The downsides are mild wind resistance, but still holds up well to about 25 mph wind speeds and software that isn’t as polished as DJI’s, but for the price, the value is excellent. Verdict: A lightweight, creator‑friendly drone that delivers impressive image quality and a premium flying experience without the premium price.
