Excellent batteries and charger. Had bought a used XBox One and it came with this charger, but didn't have the power cord--so basically I just bought a whole new one, because of that. Works excellent. You place the controller on the charger and then push down, the red light comes on, and it begins to charge the controller battery. When the battery is full, the red light changes to green...at this time, it's advised to press down again so that the charger/controller contacts are separated and it stopped charging it any longer. I'm not exactly sure if this charger is considered a quick charger and if leaving it charging after it turns green will decrease the life of the battery or not. I dont want to take my chances, and the instructions aren't clear about that...so I'll just continue to "pop it up" once the charger indicates it's fully charged. Kind of an inconvenience, because of having to do that...but a great charger all the same.

DO yourself a favour and buy one of these charging stations for your Xbox Controller. It is so comfortable using a charging station instead of changing batteries often. The charging station is well built and makes a good addition to the game room or living room.
