Looks cool with Samus Aran on it. Just started using it on 1/5/22 after buying it on 11/12/21. Could have been better, no vibrations, feels kinda cheap like i can break it if i press the buttons fast or hard enough. Could've been at least wireless but it does have a long wire which I'm afraid that either 1 of my 4 cats or my pitbull are gonna bite it.

It got mushy buttons out of nowhere (for the ABXY part), literally with a day of light use. I got another model that didn't have the same problem with more days and usage

this is a great controller!! not only is the design super cute but it functions perfectly and makes a LOT of my Switch games so much easier to play; i only use the "joy-con" stick controllers that originally came with my Switch to play Tetris 99 now lol, everything else I play using this controller since it's much more familiar to me and easier to use (especially for games like Splatoon). it doesn't have rumble/vibration functions built-in, but that doesn't personally bother me at all, and the product information mentioned the lack of rumble, so i was aware of that before buying, anyways. would definitely recommend it to others!

I remember being a kid and not being able to afford a lot of gaming stuff as a kid. So I would have to get a third party controller such as MadKatz or something similar and it was just terrible, and was a reminder of being poor. However with that said, my parents did their best and I love them for it and always will. This controller I got for $18.00, and it looks amazing. The design looks beautiful and it’s a solid controller, the box it comes in is beautiful and it’s something to be proud of. For all those kids out there and adults too just know this is a fantastic controller. Plus kudos to Nintendo and Power A for making affordable and nice looking third party controllers.

I haven't used this controller yet. But I have a similar one for Xbox. Same brand and very similar design. I have to say I'm impressed by how they feel. They feel sturdy, great in your hands and made of quality materials. They are very light and only feel slightly heavier when connected to the wire due to being a wired controller obviously. Besides that it's an excellent product. The design and colors with the Mario character upfront makes it stand out. Even if at some point the controller no longer functions or works it could be kept as a collectible. Really nice and cute. You can not beat the price. Affordable yet not cheap in functionality, and or construction. It looks awesome.

We needed a second controller for the switch and for the price this one was perfect. My son loves Pokemon now so the design was a great option. The cord is long enough for when he is playing on the TV and hasnt tangled up yet.

Great product! Joysticks feel smooth along with the other buttons. It also has buttons in the back of the controller which allow you to adjust the controls for a better gameplay experience. It feels comfortable while holding also. The USB cable also fits perfectly in the controller so you dont have to worry about it getting loose or something like a PS4 controller. The design also is amazing. Huge Zelda fan since a child. The gold compliments the black and whites. I am fully satisfied with this product and i do recommend.

I was so excited to try this controller out. I got over the corded part, as it had plenty of length to work with my room's layout. When I say this controller "felt cheap," I mean that it can't possibly be more than $1 worth of plastic and internals to make this controller. The best way I can explain/warn people of just how cheap this controller feels, I handed it to my wife, who had a visible reaction to it and how lightweight/cheap it felt to her. All of this to say if you can get past the cheap feeliny, it's a very function and stylish controller.

It's SO lightweight compared to the Pro Controller. I purchased this along with a Pro Controller the day I purchased my Switch because I wanted as many normal controllers as possible, but I don't feel that the modern controllers are truly worth the $50+ that they typically sell for. This guy was a fraction of the cost and works just as well... but it's wired.
The neat thing is it's a really long micro USB cable. You see the micro usb port when you unplug it from the controller itself.
The controller, though lightweight, feels solid in the hands. The joysticks feel very responsive and easy to control. The buttons are very responsive.
I THOUGHT enhanced controller meant it had the capability to use Amiibo, but, again, my old friend fine-print strikes again. It doesn't say on the outer packaging that it DOESN'T support Amiibo, and it was right next to another version of this controller that WASN'T enhanced. So what does enhanced actually mean? Two hidden programmable buttons on the underside... I still haven't quite figured out how to use those, though.
The cord is 10 feet long, and that used to be crazy long, though with larger televisions and seating situated further away as a result, the 10 foot cord is JUST long enough for my setup, and I kinda wish I had gotten the wireless version (cost twice as much) because I live in fear that my son will trip over the cord and pull the switch down off the entertainment center.
Overall, however, this controller is DEFINITELY worth the money, I only wish it was wireless, too. Does the wireless hardware really drive the price of controllers up two to three times? It's bluetooth. Bluetooth is cheap! The receiver is built-in to the console, and Bluetooth transmitters are as low as $5.

For ~$20 I don't see how you can beat these controllers! I have a few Power A wired controllers and I will say that it seems that theyve switched up materials used on a couple occasions. This model feels considerably lighter than any controller I've ever used. Finish is almost matte and it feels as such.
Controller has a very minor texture from the graphics on the body and personally I think it feels great. The buttons all feel responsive and as you'd expect. I have heard rumors of Drifting happening with these joysticks but out of the (3) that I've owned over a couple years... never had an issue. The USB Cable is very long and comes with a small piece of velcro to shorten the length of the cable if so desired.
This is certainly not a Pro Controller, but for roughly 20 bucks, I think this is a serious value.

Bought this as a gift for the gf, must say she loved it. Anyone that is a Pokémon fan would love this. The control is responsive, long reach wire 10', and as well light weight. Easy to get adjusted, although it is not battery power so it cannot be used as wireless.

Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the controller port where you input the original Sonic cable will only work for the Sonic controller. No other Power A cable will work on the Sonic controller unless the cable has the same design as the Sonic cable controller.
