I recently had the pleasure of trying out the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch, specifically the Mario Mayhem edition, and I must say, it's an absolute game-changer for any Nintendo enthusiast.
From the moment I unboxed the controller, the attention to detail and love for the Mario franchise was evident. The iconic red and blue color scheme, coupled with the familiar images of Mario, Luigi, and other beloved characters, instantly brought a smile to my face. The controller exudes a nostalgic charm that pays a perfect homage to the iconic plumber's adventures.
One of the standout features of this controller is its wireless capability. The connection was seamless, and I experienced no lag during gameplay. The wireless range is impressive, allowing me to enjoy my favorite Nintendo titles from the comfort of my couch without being tethered to the console. The freedom to move around without compromising performance is a significant plus.
The build quality is top-notch. The controller feels sturdy and comfortable in my hands, and the buttons are responsive and tactile. The layout mirrors the traditional Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, making it easy for anyone familiar with Nintendo's controllers to adapt seamlessly. The addition of motion controls and vibration feedback enhances the gaming experience, adding an extra layer of immersion to every play session.
The PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller also boasts a fantastic battery life. I was able to enjoy hours of uninterrupted gameplay before needing to recharge, and the USB-C charging port ensures a quick and convenient power-up.
What truly sets this controller apart, though, is its affordability. Despite its premium features and special edition design, the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller comes at a reasonable price point, making it an excellent choice for gamers on a budget.
In conclusion, the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch - Mario Mayhem edition is a must-have for any Mario fan or Nintendo Switch owner. Its wireless convenience, solid build quality, nostalgic design, and budget-friendly price make it a standout choice in the crowded controller market. Upgrade your gaming experience and embrace the mayhem with PowerA!

I love this controller. It worked perfectly with Nintendo Switch. Only down side is it does not show battery life on screen but that’s not a big deal because if you charge it complete first time you get 45 hours of playing time without charging in between.
The grips and the sticks work well and are easy to move about. Would definitely recommend!

This controller is a nice add to playing games on the Switch with your family—especially if you are looking for a larger controller than the mini ones that come with the Switch. No latency, easy to set up, batteries built in, and nice build quality compared to the more expensive Nintendo brand.

I've got two of these controllers, both for under a year. So far so good. I have had 3 switch pro controllers, 1 just died and the others are starting to suffer from joystick drift. So far I haven't noticed any negatives with these controller. They have 2 mappable buttons along the bottom on the inside of the grips. This controller is lighter than the switch pro controller, and a little bit less comfortable. The battery life has been comparable to that of the switch pro controller. All in all, I think this is a solid choice and has become my go to controller for the extra buttons on the grips. An added bonus is that this controller goes on sale frequently. I spent about half of what a pro controller cost on this one. If it ever goes out, it won't break the bank.

Best controller I’ve ever owned. Sadly it started drifting after a year but after being a Totaltech member and exchanging it I got a new one and it’s working great. Fantastic wireless controller with a nostalgic design

This controller functions just as well as the pro controller, which I have as well, for significantly less money. Great feel, smooth and precise joy sticks and buttons. Wireless. I had to look up on the Internet what the difference was between the two and why this one was cheaper. Turns out there’s no rumble function or NFC reader. Didn’t even notice this for most of the gaming I do. If these features are not particularly important to you grab this and save a few bucks. Or if you already have a pro controller, this is a great second controller for less.

I bought this computer for a wireless replacement to my wired pc controller as well as another option for my switch. While basic, it has been extremely solid, and the rechargeable battery is a plus.

I love there are two back buttons like a Playstation pro controller. They last a long time before needing to charge, and the controller has a premium quality feel. The analog sticks for this controller last a lot longer than the joy con sticks (stick drift issues). The major downside is that there is no rumble. Other than that, this is a great alternative to the pro controller.

I recently picked up a PowerA controller, and overall, I’m really impressed. The build quality feels solid and durable—definitely not cheap or flimsy. However, the controller runs on the smaller side, which makes it a better fit for kids or anyone with smaller hands.
For adults with larger hands, it might feel a bit compact, but for kids, it’s honestly perfect. The buttons are responsive, and it feels well-made despite the lightweight design.
I’d definitely buy again for the kids—great quality at a fair price without compromising on performance.

Controller is built well with easy connectivity. Feels as good in my hands as the Pro controller (and has a better price point). Its definitely worth the price.

Nice switch and switch 2 controller. My kids have used it to play Zelda and Mario kart many many hours. A charge lasts a long time. I was so my happy with it that I bought a second one.
No reason to buy the Nintendo brand pro controller

Somewhat newish owner of a switch. I was looking for a controller to keep my hands comfortable over longer playing sessions. In the past, I have not trusted 3rd party controllers because the quality just could not match the native manufacturers. Because of this, I coughed up the $70(overpriced!) for the Nintendo controller and, like I expected, it was more comfortable.
A few days later, this version of the PowerA controller came out. The price of the Nintendo controller still bothered me (considering an xbox or PS4 controller is $60) so I returned it and got the PowerA instead.
I honestly can not tell a difference between the two in terms of build quality or feel in my hands. It is equal to the Nintendo controller in any game I have played with it. Buy this and save $20.

I absolutely love the colors on the controller and the characters. This controller is wireless and is chargeable which saves you tons of money on buying batteries. The controller stays charged for a very long time which is amazing.
