This is great for playing switch games on the tv i find it easier to use than taking the sides off just nice having that controller feel

Great controller a little on the light side which it was heavier so it didn’t feel so cheap

I bought this for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I opted in the for the wired version instead of the wireless since it was half the price. Out of the box, this controller is light, almost too light, compared to the original GameCube controller I used to play with. But the buttons work and the 10 ft USB cable is enough to play with enough distance from the TV. However, $25 is pretty steep, especially the build quality of the controller. I recommend buying it if it was less than $20.

This controller is Nintindo quality at it's best! The analog and C sticks snap right back to the middle and feel perfect. The buttons and D-pad work and feel great. The length and thickness of the cord tell me that this controller was built to last. It has an overall sturdy feel, and I would recommend this controller to anyone.

Perfect addition to the switch. Always enjoyed the GameCube controller and makes it much easier to play Pikmin 3

I'm a casual gamer. Most my purchases are at my kids' recommendations. I admit I am not a fan of newer systems like the Wii/Wii U/Switch just from the silly lil controllers (I do love the family oriented games). I like this controller, it feels more like what I'm used to. My son who wanted this, agrees he likes the feel of it compared to the joy-cons. When I get challenged I steal this controller just so I might have a ghost of a chance.

Had to get this for smash bros ultimate and it takes me back to smash bros melee. Great price for a great controller

My interest for a controller like this came when I heard about the release of a new Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Switch. Nostalgia aside, the Nintendo GameCube had the best, most comfortable controllers, and the particular layout of buttons and sticks worked PERFECTLY with GameCube's Super Smash Bros. Melee. So naturally, when Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was announced, all sorts of GameCube-style controllers came out. I'm usually the kind of person to avoid third-party controllers, but it looked like Nintendo was backing PowerA brand and kept me interested in it. What makes this PowerA GameCube Controller different than the Nintendo-branded GameCube controller is that it has two "Z" buttons (the bumper buttons, the Switch was designed with two shoulder buttons) and the 4 essential Switch buttons in the center (Screen shot, Home, +, and -), meaning this can be used for more games than just the Smash Bros. game the Nintendo-brand GameCube control was revived for. The only downside is that this does not have the rumble feature, which has been a common feature I've turned off manually anyway. If you've ever played a GameCube, I would highly recommend this one (or its wireless counterpart) for the Switch!

I was in a bind during a stream when my controller stopped working.. put it on pause to go to best buy and this affordable piece of tech was worth the buy! Feels good in the hands too though a little compact.

Great controller for switch and emulation. I will say one major con is the fact that the R and L triggers are not analog.. so for racing games you cannot granularly control speed.

Nice to use if you prefer a bigger controller. And the cord is pretty lengthy so you can probably sit on the couch and play

Got a pc, and wanted to use it to experience childhood games you can no longer get unless you wanna drop 100's of dollars. Works excellent for all GameCube titles, love that it gives me ability to truly experience those games like i used to

Great controller. I bought a set a couple yesrs ago, and, after probably 1000 or so games of Super Smash Bros, they finally started developing stick drift and button issues. This is not a con, by the way; we ABUSED these controllers. They are not limited to only being used for Smash, though. I use them for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom with no issues. I frankly prefer the Gane Cube controller to the traditional Pro Controller or Joy-Cons. They last longer too. These are the crème de la crème of controllers for the Switch

An awesome nostalgic controller greatly used for smash brothers and other GameCube classics. If you're getting tired of the nunchucks then pick up one these bad boys. I hoping Nintendo makes a N64 version as well. It's a long time waiting.

If you ever owned a game cube this is the same quality controller! Use this to play super smash bros on the Nintendo switch and it feels great on the hands and super responsive! Very satisfied with the purchase!

Great feel as with previous Gamecube controllers, especially for playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Triggers are not analog like original GCN controllers, but it doesn't adversely affect game play too much. Addition of ZL/ZR, Home, and Capture Buttons make it more functional than using a regular Gamecube controller with adapter. HOWEVER... after using it as my primary for SSBU since December, 2019 it lasted about 6 months of semi-daily use until issues with the primary joystick began drifting. The wireless PowerA version seems more resilient and with 6 months of use does not show signs of drift, at least for now. This was a great started controller for when SSBU released, but it appears to not last for more than a half year of consistent use.
