This is a wireless bar, which is awesome. It's range is great, you can be sitting anywhere in the room and it'll detect your movements. The down side: battery life stinks! Don't buy this product unless you want to spend a fortune on batteries. My boyfriend and I play the wii only a few times a week and only for maybe an hour at a time. We had to replace the batteries (and it takes a lot of them) twice in one week. After that we just stopped using it because we didn't want to keep buying more batteries for it. They need to make this bar rechargeable or have an optional plug, or it's just not worth it.

This sensor made a huge difference. We are able to stand further away from the Wii and spread out and not hit each other. And couldn't beat the price!!! Thanks BB

I have no complaints, it dos what it needs to do. I like the double AA batteries instead of AAA. Heavy duty, could be a little less bulky but looks more sturdy.

This item is pretty straight forward and it works well. I haven't had a problem with it and I don't expect to have one. I got it for $20 but I've seen this as low as $13 so just look for a good price and then price match it here.

Works great! The wide or regular modes is handy for big rooms. The ability to use a cord or not is also helpful. The cord was hiding at the top of the box. I almost missed it because I opened from the bottom.

I bout this for my Wii because I needed the sensor bar farther than the wired one would go. It worked great! It does use batteries but held up to several hours of use and still had plenty of battery left!

This is very similar to the sensor bar for the Wii but seems to be a little more responsive. Black is a decent color for it and the batter life seems a little better than the Wii model. The only real problem is that Nintendo needs to include an AC power adaptor for these so that you don't have to go through so many batteries. When the sensor bar is located away from the Wii console the cord from the bar to the Wii is useless. The AC adapter should have been included from the beginning.

I bought this to be able to use my Wii in my classroom. I couldn't set the wired bar in the right place because my Wii was hooked up along a side wall. So this allowed me to use it with great success.

My daughter somehow broke her sensor bar to her wii which forced me to buy another one. I like the fact that if you choose to, you can use this wireless. No complaints so far. Works perfect.

I wanted an extra sensor bar for our classic Wii so that my kids could take it to their grandmother's house without having to fish wires out of the entertainment center. The sensor bar works fine, but it is really quite huge due to the batteries needed for wireless mode. Definitely not as portable as the original sensor bar, and I really don't intend to use it in wireless mode. Still, it is nice to have the option.
