The winner is the Sidekick ! Hands down looks like a mini Xbox One controller, buttons feel great ! and the Joysticks are superb . Bought it to play Bayonetta 2 and i was shocked how well it's made i got big hands and it responds flawlessly ! Also the Buttons have a toggle light switch that makes them illuminate ...........Would recommend this product 5 Stars

We needed a gamepad to go with the Wii U and I was looking for a good one at a decent price. To me, $50 is too much for the Nintendo brand so I came across this one. It is smaller than the 1st party controller but it fits great in my sons little hands. He finds it easy to use and there is a very small learning curve. It is rechargeable and comes with a long USB cable to charge while you play. It also lights up a bit in the event they are playing in the dark.

The controller works perfectly with my daughter's WiiU! She can play certain games that she couldn't before because the controller is needed.

Worth every penny. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Pro controller....this is it! It maybe a little smaller....but dont let that fool you...as it is comfortable to the grip. Battery life is also great! And the USB charging cable that comes with it is pretty long.

This unit works well and is great for kids. However, anyone with larger hands might find it difficult to use, especially if they have become accustomed to the standard controller. I got used to it and decided to keep it, as it is actually more responsive than the original - just weird to hold at first.

You can only use the controller for some Wii U games not all of them. The plus side is that it doesn't have a wire that you have to be stuck to. It's wireless and makes moving around with it easy and fits great in your hand.

Bought this controller for our new WiiU. As soon as we got home, the kids got it out and started to play. The controller had enough of a charge for them to play for at least two hours right out of the box.

These controllers are an acceptable substitute for the OEM Nintendo Wii gamepads. They are definitely small controllers, but work well for small children. My only complaint is that they periodically have to be re-synced with the WiiU. After using the for the past month, I can say that they have been responsive and fit the requirement for games which require the gamepads. A much less expensive alternative and re-syncing is acceptable considering the cost of the OEM controllers.

Bought this over the official gamepad remote it was less expensive with an easy setup. My boys are now enjoying playing Splatoon and Smash Bros all the time now and myself.

I was concerned that this controller would be to small, I have average hands but there are conflicting reports. I had no expectations going into this purchase; but for half the cost of the Pro controllers I couldn't resist. I was drawn to this because the joy-stick layout is identical to Xbox and other popular controllers not inverted like Nintendo products. I played Wind Waker HD for 13hrs with breaks and still had more than half battery power. Great little controller, you won't be disappointed!

I have small hands even for being 5'0, and I thought this controller would be a good fit rather than the enormous game pad. Maybe I just haven't played with it enough to get used to the feel but it seems a bit awkward. I'm not a good gamer, and I'm only playing Mario kart 8 with it, but I am trying out both the pro controller and this one. The pro might win.

At first I thought it would be difficult to use because of its size, but I was wrong. It's a good controller for gamers on a budget.

This game pad might as well have been made by Xbox themselves - you cannot tell the difference. Works seamlessly.

The kids love the wireless game pad! Instead of having so many different remotes, this one does multiple things!
