Very heartwarming story about a little girl who finds an injured reindeer in the woods and tries to take care of it secretly from her father. The actress playing the little girl is very good in this role as is Sam Elliott who plays her crusty father. The hook in the story is that the girl believes this reindeer is actually Santa's reindeer Prancer - hence the name of the movie.

I honestly forgot about this movie, which was a childhood holiday favorite. When I saw it I had to buy it to share with the next generation of kiddos.

This movie is by far one of my favorite Christmas movies. It has such a good message of hope and togetherness. It's sad, it's happy plus Sam Elliot is in it so it makes it so much better. The movie makes you feel cozy and makes you feel the magic of Christmas. So curl up on the couch with a cup of cocoa and a cozy blanket cause you are in for a treat.

I originally viewed this movie years ago when it was first released and took my children to see it. Now, I have grandchildren and when I saw the movie in the bin at Best Buy, I snagged it on the way out of the to purchase another product. I enjoyed it as much with my grandson as I did with my children. Great movie to add to the Christmas movie list.

I finally found this on DVD. I have always loved this movie since the year it came out. I saw it in the theater as a child. The story is very touching and warms the heart. It is a great movie about a young girl who is very courageous and determined to save Prancer. She faces many obstacles and goes the extra mile.

My family has been watching this movie at Christmas for years. It's one of the movies that slip's thru the cracks becouse all the other Christmas movies out there, Prancer is well worth the watch if you have never seen it and who knows it just might become your Christmas move each year.

Brought back memories from watching this on VHS. Had to get it on DVD as a keepsake. Warming story about keeping the Christmas spirit alive at an age where believing in santa requires hard evidence. Watch the story unfold and the hearts of the townsfolk open up to Christmas cheer.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I've always wanted to own in, but being from the 80's, it's been hard to get my hands on a DVD. I was so excited to spot it in the bargain bin at Best Buy for only a few bucks! You can't beat that!

This is an older movie that is charming for Christmas. Focusing on a small town and a young girl, it is appealing and appropriate for all ages. It is not as high tech as today's movies, but it is worth viewing for its simple clean messages.

I love Christmas movies. This one is not typical sappy Christmas movie. Yet it still has the nostalgic “Christmas miracle is in the air” plot. Bought it last year. Kiddos watching it again this year - (me, too)

I loved this movie growing up and was excited to find it for just a few dollars. I forgot all the big names in the cast, but they were great. MY kids did not enjoy it as much as I did, but it was a fun movie to watch.

I actually purchased this movie for my son because I grew up watching it and for the amazing price, he had to have it for us to watch together during the holiday season. Great movie at a wonderful price.

This was always one of my favorite childhood Christmas movies but it never comes on tv. I saw it for sale for $5 and had to get it. It's such a cute and heartwarming movie that the whole family will love.

what would I do without something to get the kiddos attention. I wouldn't be able to get anything done. Sometimes I just need a minute to myself and these videos are the answer to that prayer!
