I bought this DVD for my grandchildren, and watched it with them. We all thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the message it conveyed. Love these types of movies. So do the kids.

I had seen this movie the year it came out. I initially watched because of Sam Elliot. As i watched I saw what a beautiful family movie that just warms the heart.

A really good Christmas movie from 1989 for everyone. This movie has become a must watch every season classic, especially for many children of the 80's and 90's and was good find at a great price for me to add to my collection of Christmas DVDs.

This is not played much on TV, but this is a very heart warming movie set during Christmas. Pick it up because it is very good and you will want to play it every Christmas season

My daughter fell in Love with this movie when she was a tiny girl but we were only ever been able to find it on VHS. So thankful for finding the DVD. Best thing ever!!

This is an old movie but still awesome to watch. I love love love the part where the daddy reads his daughter's favorite part of the book. It makes me cry every time.

We took my son to see this movie when he was four years old in 1989. I purchased this DVD for his three year old daughter. She enjoyed it very much.

A little girl befriends a injured deer.she hides and protects deer in family shelter.she is convinced he is Santa's deer.only time will tell.

Has always been a good movie for the Christmas season. Only regret is that they did not have it in blue ray. Still well worth the money.

This dvd was so hard to find in my area. Was so glad that Best Buy had it. It is a great movie for animal lovers everywhere. Absolutely wonderful.
