With so many duds that were released this year for the Xbox One, Doom was a very refreshing change. And if you are a fan of the PC versions of Doom, you will simply love this latest incarnation on the Xbox One.

Played the game in it's entirety, even went back to acquire missed secrets and items. Very rare for me to do that. Cannot speak for the online component, but the campaign has plenty of meat to justify my purchase. Replay value is extremely high for me. Just a lot of fun

Doom may be dated, one of the oldest PC and multiplatform video game franchises, but with the creative, imaginative writing and out of this world graphic improvements, it still entertains and makes the adrenalin pump and heart pound with anticipation at every turn.

Doom plays mostly like the original version with a great graphics overhaul. The main difference is the glory kills which you will either love of hate. The animations of the glory kills do get old quick however they are still brutal. Overall if you enjoyed the original Doom and Doom 2 you will enjoy this reboot of the beloved series.

Every once and a while, a game comes along that reminds me why I love video games. Gears of War on the 360 was the last one, before Doom. Demanding, entertaining, gripping, and exhausting, it pulled me in and didn't let go until the very last minute of gameplay.

This game is a breath of fresh air in First Person Shooters! The action starts right away and it never lets up! Stick with it and leave demon endtrails and blood in your wake. The multiplayer is a blast and a solid mix between new and old style multiplayer.

The game is ok but it just seem to lack the gritty feel the old pic game had, I miss the blood and gut of the old game and even the many hours downloading wad files.. The bloody night with awesome sounds is gone as well...alas it is back to the present and game play is fine and graphic does the job on a 65 in 4K tv is alright

This game is fantastic, smart dark humor, great enemy design, wonderful gory shooting, old school weapons and item management mechanics with a fun plot. Also a suoer metal soundtrack that fits great. A wonderful homage to the id games of old. Recommend!

Skip the movie and just play the game. Doom is sheer havoc. You will run around obliterating demons that have invaded Mars. There will be blood everywhere. You will stay up late and be tired at work the next day. Then the next night you will do the same.

Doom is an excellent game an almost perfect reboot if the original doom. It is similar to doom 3. Which i love and consid the best of the series. I would recommend this to any hardcore doom fan and fans of FPS games. It's well worth the time and money.

Gave it to my son for Christmas but he hasn't used it yet. Can't really give a review until he plays it.

Great first person shooter. Fun campaign and beautiful graphics. Multiplayer is a blast too, but the population is low and it's hard to find a game. All the dlc was recently added to the game for free so that might bring some players in.

Didnt expect this to be that good but it is well worth the money. Was playing Uncharted 4 and started playing this and couldnt put it down. If you like frantic fast paced FPS then this is definitely a solid purchase. Underpromised and over delivered

I still have fond memories of playing the original Doom and I am pleased to say this game is worthy of the name. The multiplayer is only so-so, and there is very little in the way of story, but that's always been a hallmark of the series, its old school shooting fun.

Doom is back! I've always been a fan of first person shooter campaigns, I know the value for most people is in the multiplayer, which this game delivers as well, but a great campaign has always been my favorite part of any game, and Doom delivers!

Doom was great and on the Xbox One and Ps4 it’s better than ever. Kill demons like nothing and embarace the hardcore rock as you make your way through hell where you are feared.
