Visuals are better, story not so much

Anyone who has played the first two God of War games can attest to this. That being said, I think the graphics in God of War 3 are leaps and bounds better than the first two games, however the story seems repetitive at this point. 3/5

It's God of War III...

If you want a visual spectacle, this is the game for you; however, if you want something with a good story and a likable main character...this is not the game for you. That said, if you've never played GoWIII, it's worth checking out just for the visuals alone.

If you love DMC, Dante's Inferno, or any of the previous God of War games, this is a great throwback. Just don't expect anything extreme here. It is what it is.
