The game is amazing quality wise, graphic wise, game play wise, but the only downfall that disappointed me was the online play servers. They all crashed. That's one reason why I bought it . Other than that the game is good.

Picked up after getting an xbox one x. Looks amazing in 4K. Definitely a must have if you've played any of the older Halo games. Halo 2 will forever be my favorite!

Good game. Has the classics with better graphics. U could choose to play with the old graphics or the updated ones with the push of a button. Pretty cool. Could also play online

The remastered Halo CE is top notch! Graphics and gameplay are superb. The bundling of all 4 games is a great value and will keep me gaming for a long time.

Love that this has 4 Halo titles on 1 disc. This was the first game I purchased on for the console and I am not disappointed. I never owned any of the other Halo titles so this was a great value for me.

The games in this collection are excellent. You're provided with 4 remastered versions of Halo's finest, with their original multiplayers seemlessly integrated together into a universal interface. The actual interface however needs a lot of work. Queuing up a lobby with friends is cumbersome. Lobbies often fall apart, and you will frequently have to reboot the game just to join or invite your friends. Matchmaking is working very poorly as of launch. Playlists split parties when a match is found, so you will often end up on different teams from your friends. It also takes a very long time to get a match. My advice is to wait a few weeks for the kinks to be worked out and then purchase this game. It's an amazing value and experience...when it works correctly!

All the campaigns are near perfectly restored and the multiplayer experience is just how you remember it! If you are thinking about buying an Xbox One here is your reason to do it this holiday season!

Good classics but multiplayr on release was awful, believe its fixed now but took a while. Campain are classics, multi is solid but little outdated compared to fast paced games like COD. Overall its held up pretty well.

So far I've loved this game. Even though I returned the one that I purchased from best buy (no midnight release? Come on guys. Even walmart sold this at midnight. Get it together.) All iterations of the game look and play great. Great Control schemes too. Hoping they can work out the kinks with online play. You would think with 10 years of Xbox live, these companies would know how to release a game and keep the system working. Unfortunately this game broke matchmaking so bad, the issues rippled over into other games like destiny. Microsoft and 343 need to actually plan really hard for halo 5s release next year...

A lot of work crammed onto a disc that's what Halo MCC can be summed up as. The roster of campaign mission modes and multiplayer playlists is what any endearing fan of Halo would want. At the beginning of ownership I've had trouble connecting to a match but with extra hours 343 put after releasing an unfinished product for the holidays, I would say this is a collection worthy of ownership. The revamped graphics and sound are great and I find it fascinating to switch between bungie's work and 343's remastered graphics on the fly. For a game developed in the late 90s you will see not much has changed save for the more detailed textures thanks to more proficient tools that are available today. The connectivity issues are resolved, go pick up this game.

Very nice experience to play these set of games on the xbox one before the next one comes out as it gives me a chance to catch up on the story line. A lot of content and solid graphics for being some old school games.

I bought the original Xbox and Halo when they first came out, and the hours spent playing it alone and with my brother are fond memories. nearly 20 years later we're both still gamers, although I haven't touched a console in more than 4 years (I'm a father now) and he's moved on to other things as well, but we still have memories, short sound bits that we know were forged from playing together. this compilation is a fitting tribute to a revolutionary game and console (say what you will, but those are facts) and now that I have some free time again, the perfect way to kill it, pun intended.

What a treat this was for Halo fans, XBox owners, and gamers. When rumors swirled of a Halo 2 anniversary expectations were already high but then we learn that each numbered entry in the Halo series would be released in HD AND for the XBox One. 13 years of history. The series that put this game on the map. This really was a delight reliving all the classic Halo moments, matches, and maps. The only drawback that prevented this review from being an Excellent Rating is the connectivity issues with Online Multiplayer. We're in the next gen and this is Halo, the franchise that popularized multiplayer. This issue should have never risen. That being said, this collection was a great offering from Microsoft and 343 is a worthy successor to Bungie.

Having the four classic Halo games on one disc is amazing! Not to include all have been digitally revised for next gen consoles and includes ALL of the multi-player maps, must have for Halo fans!

Playing the first one so far (campaign) and am having a blast. The graphics are great and I think overall it's an excellent value. Multiplayer is down at the moment but I think I will enjoy.

Halo 1 through 4, for the price of one game is an amazing deal! Great story to replay with up to 3 of your friends. The multiplayer is as good as I remember. The game is great for Halo fans!

Many people were very excited for this game and it was disappointing when it launched due to all the issues. Here we are, a year after launch, and while many of the issues plaguing this game have been fixed, there are still many issues with multiplayer. Trying to co-op campaign over xbox live only works maybe 60% of the time. Open a terminal while you're in-game and it causes a console crash! These types of issues whould have been priority for 343 bud sadly, I doubt they'll ever be fixed. On the plus side, H2A looks amazing! Online Matchmaking has gotten a lot better but they lost so many customers due to the poor release that there aren't many players. Halo 5 is the refresh that this franchise needs.

Finally the games that made the Xbox what it is Halo and Halo 2 are out for Xbox one along with the multiplayer that kickstarted Xbox live! I consider the Halo 3 and 4 bonuses and all for are in hi deg glory.

Perhaps dated by today's standards, but still a classic franchise that stands on its own. Worth the purchase to carry forward to the next generation.
