never going to pre-order again. for the first month nothing works. major disappointment now they claim all the stuff are fixed. but it is not fixed! matching making compare to COD this is total garbage

If you're only looking to play the campaigns, then this game is perfect for you. However, if you're like me and want to play the MP, you should pass. Even after countless patches, it is still a mess.

Only bought to have nostalgic multiplayer experience. Servers failed multiple times. Still doesn't work. Continuous updates after 4 weeks. Don't buy only redeeming quality is halo 2 campaign revamp.

I was very excited for this game. The campaign seems to work well, but matchmaking is completely broken. It is unfair that I can't return this game because it is by all measures not what I paid for.

This is a very confusing and complicated product, not to mention it takes about 4-5 hours to even download to the Xbox 1 and once it does download the layout is so confusing you just want to throw your paddle at the tv screen. It's very frustrating

The download time is horrendous! It was very frustrating having to wait so long just to play the game. And when it did download, the graphics were bad compared to each of the individual games on Xbox 360. It is a good game besides all of that.

For someone who is just now joining team xbox, the master chief collection was a great opportunity for me to find out what I had been missing in the halo saga.

The games included in this Halo pack are excellent, if you get a chance to play them. Its no secret 343 Studios had nothing but problems with the servers and this recreation of Halo.

I like the halo games a lot but with the Xbox one you absolutely have to have it on the Internet to get any achievements what so ever also wanted to download almost 20 gigs just so I could play it. 20 gigs is a lot. had to return it and my console as the console it self used up 40 megabytes just on start up 40 is at least a decent size video like 15 min YouTube video If you have a BIG Internet service by all means enjoy but up here Internet costs a lot and going over the gig limit is very bad.

I purchased this game the week it came out. I was so excited to finally be able to play some of my favorite Halo games on the XBOX One! Imagine my dismay that over 9 months has passed and the game's multiplayer still doesn't work properly. I won't write about all that here since there's so many articles online about the issues this game has. 343 has ruined this series for me. I have gone from pre-ordering every Halo game (and always the more expensive limited/legendary editions) before it came out to shunning Halo 5.

If you want a single player game and do not care about earning the achievements you earn or that each game is an older buggy build this is for you. Multiplayer is a mess and as a person who plays Halo mostly for the multiplayer experience this ruined the game. Went from a console seller to me to topping my reasons for considering selling the console. Microsoft has shown their future standards with this game.

I picked up this game on sale and am satisfied with the game for the price that I paid. The classic maps bring back good memories, however the loading time between online matches can vary from 2-10 minutes.

Has the potential to be a great game if they ever get the online matchmaking fixed. I would not recommend this purchase until 343 Studios and M$ get the stuff together.

I love halo ima huge fan, but I'm disappointed because it takes longer to play with friends and some times we can't even play. Multiplayer and co-campaign are just bad.

First time Halo player, I feel this game is greatly overrated. Nothing special about Halo. The MP Issues during the first week of launch has been absolutely terrible.

I was never a HALO player but this is afun game and I really enjoy playing head to head with my kids. I'll definitely buy future games from the HALO series

I popped the game into my Xbox expecting to play within the hour to two hours of putting in the game. No I had to wait a good 15 hours to finally play the game since it will not allow full access to the while game until the game installs to 100% then after everything installed matchmaking doesn't find anyone, waste of time & waste of money this game was. Now more than a month after launch and this matchmaking issue is still unresolved. Don't play this garbage. Don't waste your time or money.

I LOVE halo, but this game has so many problems in many areas. Everything from not being able to find a game, to spawn places (I've spawned in a sniper bullet).

Halo 2 has some of the most beautiful cut scenes I've ever seen in a video game. However you cannot play matchmaking, which really hurts the value of this game.
