I was excited to play a childhood favorite on a new system. Graphics are great and loved revamped characters

Great game. Lots of options for multiplayer both on and offline. The biggest flaw of this game is the in app purchase price for add ons is way to high. Only reason why its not a 5 star game. $30 for 2 characters and a few unique character skins is not worth it especially after spending $60 for the game. The characters should not be pay to play but unlockable as they used to be in the very beginning. Outside of that great game lots of fun with friends.

That being said this game is awesome. Graphics are phenomenal, the last MK game i owned and played was for the original play station. Things sure have come a long way. As easily as I get frustrated when playing these head to head fighting games I really like this game. The gameplay is so good that my wife ( not a gamer) made me buy an extra controller so she could fight me. The updated combos and fatalities are worth buying the game just to see.

I've played the original Mortal Kombat as a child, and to see how it has evolved over the years is truly incredible. This game's graphics are visually stunning and has a really great attention to detail. The story is interesting and engaging, and the fights are brutal. A great installment for fans of Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were the originators of the Fighting Game Genre, and I have fond memories of playing both in my youth. This update to the MK series takes the good from past iterations of Mortal Kombat, and expands on it, with new characters, combos, and improved graphics. Great party game.

Just when you thought Mortal Kombat 9 couldn't be topped, NetherRealm creates another masterpiece. It looks amazing, it plays amazing, has an amazing story mode, and has a TON of depth and replayability. If you were every a Mortal Kombat fan, you need this game. If you're not, you still need it. Buy it now!

The best game of the series since Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II back in the mid-90's. Combos are difficult to pull off. Fatalities aren't impossible, but still require some button combination skills. Different towers to compete in, plus a story mode. All in all a very good game. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because, like many fighting games, it can get repetitive. But if you're a fan of the series, then you will love the game.

For those familiar with the MK Universe, MKX represents a return to the gripping storytelling of the revamped Mortal Kombat released a few years ago. Excellent gameplay with good storytelling (not as thrilling as the previous game's, but good nevertheless) makes for a title that all MK fans should pick up.

This game plays pretty game. I have put in about 10 hours so far and the fun factor still remains.

There are the main big fighting franchises. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Mortal Kombat. MKX fits right between SF and MvC with both feel and control. It's not a button mash to glory like MVC or a pure strategy know every move type like SF. And unlike most every other fighting game out there this one actually has a engaging and fun story mode. Cons for this game are the Gore that is not for kids and that's about it

MK for the new generation is back with stunning graphics, gorgeous backdrops and eye popping visuals that should keep gamers coming back for more time and time again. The DLC is the only bummer so far....adding another 30 dollars to the game...other than that this is the sure fighting game of the year.

Having owned this game for a few days now, I can say that this entry into the Mortal Kombat library of games is one of the most interesting. This game introduces you to new characters to choose from and expands the story as with every MK game. The controls are very much like the last MK game as well.

This version of Mortal Kombat is great! It shows me everything that has happened to all my favorite characters from the past games. In addition to playing some of the original characters, there are now many new, exciting, and sensationally fun characters. Definitely I recommend it for anyone.

5 out of 5. MK player since day one. Very fun. Graphics top knotch. High impact action. Turn up the volume for intense audio. You will feel every hit. Love the high impact hits. Will make you say, whoa. Netherrealm and High Voltage definetly did their homework on this MK. Buy it,you won't be upset.

I bought this to change things up a little bit seeing that I'm mainly an Assassin's Creed type gamer. But the story mode is nothing to write home to mom about, but what I love most is that I can play this game with friends and provide hours of entertainment during family and friend get togethers!

This is a great game! Loads of fun and a lot of depth. The story is the best I have ever seen in a fighting game, the factions concept is a cool addition, the 1080p and 60 fps are a bonus. The combo's feel natural....everything is balanced just right. To sum it all up: Mortal Kombat X ROCKS!!!!!

Not for the squeamish. Game is brutally violent with the familiar Mortal Kombat controls.
