my daughter who is 18 years old loves it. It is not recommended for younger children. It's very bloody and gruesome. But she enjoys that it have so many ways to play more than the older mortal combat games.

Pros -graphics -some characters -local multiplayer Cons -All characters have 3 variations of themselves should have used that on adding more characters -online multiplayer a takes too long to find someone to play -story mode could have been better

Similar mechanics to past MK games, but with updated graphics & physics. Only things that I wish are that the roster would be expanded more without having to pay too much through DLC, and include Baraka & Kabal.

It's been a long long time since I've played Mortal Kombat. I decided to get this one after reading some good reviews. It's a lot of fun and challenging. The graphics are great! Gory as expected. Worth the buy.

The game is great with endless online capabilities and gameplay. The characters and graphics are mind blowing with exceptional attention to detail that is addictive and fun. Well worth the price of admission!!

Mortal Kombat X is as good as advertised. Very smooth gameplay to go with beautiful graphics. Enjoying the campaign tho I have yet to play the online multiplayer. Highly recommended for any fan of the genre.

Incredible! MK9 was amazing, but MKX not only improved the graphics and fighting system but blew the last one out of the water. Great fighting game. If you are a Mortal Kombat fan, you cannot miss this one.

I love MK. The new characters are awesome. Can't wait to try Jason. Hope they put Freddy in this one to have a epic battle. Thought there was more characters to begin but I guess you have to download them.

Played through the story mode and enjoyed it. Also the selecting specific klans to compete with others to get certain rewards depending on how well the one you have chosen did. Enjoying the ability to play be able to play as the Predator and Jason Voorhees. Fun game to enjoy Mortal Kombat series.

If you enjoy Injustice or the last Mortal Kombat (2011), this is the game for you. Before picking this up, all I had for fighting games on the Xbox One with Killer Instinct and UFC. Another great fighter game entry to the platform. Beautiful environments and redesigned controls for the current gen.

This game is superb! I pre-ordered it so I could receive Goro as a playable character and received the code via email the day after the game was released! Story mode is pretty good. Definitely worth it!

This is one of the best games I have thus far on XBox One. The graphics are great and the gameplay is fantastic. This game was well worth the money. If you're in to fighting games, this is a MUST BUY!!!

My friends and I play this often! They come over my house and we all play it together and after several doritos bag and mountain dews later we leave because John threw my remote at the TV and broke it.

heck yeah! mortal kombat! enough said, but listen to majority reviews. omg, great game. graphics to storyline, and some kick butt fights, and fatality against some fool online... priceless. have fun.

so much content, so many characters, so many crazy kombos. I wouldn't spend money on the "character packs", though. They will release more as the year goes on, then a "definitive version" next year.

Fun game, so glad I got this. I am definitely a "button masher" on these type of games, but I really enjoy playing this. Do have to say, that it is very graphic so may not be suitable for young kids.

Excellent graphics and animation, creative, occasionally disturbing (in a good way), good mix of characters, though you can now but the XL version with a larger roster on sale. Lots of fun, hours of game play spanning various game modes. Worth a buy, you'll dig it.

this one feels bloodier than the earlier incarnations, but heck... that's what Mortal Kombat is all about, right? Lots of characters to choose from, so you can find the fighter that fits your style.
