Been a mortal kombat fan for years ever since they first came out. this game did not let me down. classic characters as well as new ones gives this game a very homely feel. The fatalities live up to the mortal kombat legend.

This game is cool, but a bit too graphic and violent for my liking. It shows brains and guts during fatalities. It has a decent amount of Mortal Kombat characters to choose from, but if you want more they're $5 each

this is by far the best mortal kombat yet. The story line is interesting and character are great but what I love the most are the fatalities.

This is a really fun game. The graphics in the same rooms are spectacular. I wish the campaign was longer, but the multiplayer is really fun.

MK is one of my favorite game and this latest one didnt fail to impress me. good graphics and fatalities are awesome. Some of the tutorials are very hard to follow though but overall I'm satisfied.

This had to be one of the best fighting games in the past 5 years. Amazing graphics, tons of fighters, and online multiplayer.

The new graphics are great. But the biggest change is the huge expansion of the game play mechanics. They have introduced multiple new types of counters, move canceling, get up attacks, get up delays, Super charged special moves and many other new game mechanics, as well as multiple configurations of each character. This gives lasting value to the game because you can continue mastering the characters, developing combos and strategies for a very long time because there are so many options.

First of all, I'm excited because I nabbed this game for 5 bucks. $14.99 is still a great price but BestBuy game me $10 off anything in store. So this was a steal for me. I must admit I am a fan of fighting games for what they are, but not a huge fan. That's mainly because they are so redundant and get old quickly. BUT, I must say that I am pretty impressed by Mortal Kombat X. The game looks astounding and has a great roster of Kharacters to choose from. The Krypt gives additional gameplay value and the single player story isn't bad at all; not the best but come on, we're not playing Final Fantasy here, it's a fighting game. The fatalities are absolutely awesome. With that alone let me stress how this is not a kids game at all. The way to brutally murder someone is not something kids should see. It's pretty cool how there are 3 different fighting styles for each kharacter, Raiden has always been number one in my book. Anyway, to sum this up, I would never pay $59.99 for any fighting game but for MKX at $14.99, that is a great deal for a pretty great game.
