Gaming these days is all about graphics and realism. Ratchet & Clank take it back to the days when it was all about fun. Great for all ages and cheap for a new game (Despite having everything and more of your average 60$ game). If you're a fan of the series or a newcomer, you can't go wrong here.

As noted in the summary, there are tons of different types of guns you can use and a lot of them are just plain fun. That's the core of the R&C games, just a fun, irreverent game experience. This title just is more of the same fun as previous installments with improvements to graphics on the PS4. A highly recommended title especially at recent sale prices ($10).

It's rare when added power and updated graphics positively enhance gameplay but that's exactly what happened with the reboot of Ratchet & Clank. There more enemies which, in turn, creates more chaos which = more fun. Because of this, there are tons and tons of bolts constantly flying around and the action is ever present. Very fun, highly recommended.

More or less a shiny overhaul of the original Playstation 2 game, Ratchet and Clank doesn't deliver a whole lot of new content, but sheer nostalgia combined with the excellent graphics have overwhelmed me, and I love it. Not overly challenging, it provides a nice break for when I get overly frustrated with the brutal difficulty of the recent Dark Souls release.

When they said it was a reboot, I was skeptical. I mean, the RC series have always been a visually pleasing series but this game...wow. Stunning would be an understatement. This game is absolutely gorgeous. It's like an interactive Pixar movie. The game is super fun. The weapons are ingenious. So many great lines and all in all, I had an absolute blast!

I've always loved the Ratchet and Clank games, and I was definitely excited about the newest entry. It's not a re-master of the original series for PS4 (if you're looking for that, there's a Ratchet and Clank collection game). This is more of an origin story, prequel type game. Still has the great action, amazing visuals, and excellent sense of humor. If you're new to the series, don't be fooled by the cartoony exterior. The jokes and action in the game are safe for kids, for sure, but are also a blast for adults. Pick it up.

This is my first Ratchet game and I was blown away by the gameplay and story. First the gameplay instantly clicked and rivals top platformers like Mario. But the story is where it shines because of the depth and humor. I really got attached to the story and got me into the "just one more level" mentality. Absolutely recommended!

As someone who never actually had played one of the original Ratchet & Clank games, this seems to be a perfect entry point for the series. One of the most visually impressive games on the PS4 with compelling gameplay that keeps you hooked with new weapons, upgrades, and areas. Great old school styled ~fun~ that is missing from a lot of games nowadays.

I can't speak as to how 'Ratchet and Clank' will connect with the feature film that's being released, but this update of the PS2 title is perfect in every regard. Amazing backdrops, a funny and engaging story, and involving gameplay - basically par for the course when it comes to Ratchet games. Definitely worth picking up for the lower price point.

I never played any of the original Ratchet and Clank games and i was curious about this one, so i gave it a chance and i was not disappointed. This game is beautiful, the characters are great and really funny, the controls are perfect, and i could not stop playing it. Give it a try if you like great platforming action and memorable characters.

I never got a chance to play these games growing up, so I jumped on the chance to do it with this remake. This is an amazing game with great visuals. It really does feel like you are playing a Pixar movie. For the price, this is an excellent buy. I took about 12 hours for my first play through with a little exploring along the way.

While I enjoyed recent entries in the Ratchet and Clank series such as Into the Nexus, this re-telling of the original game has been met with a lot of excitement. Maybe it's the nostalgia. Nevertheless, it's still a good game with beautiful environments, fun weapons, and kid-friendly humor that adults can appreciate as well.

Another great installment into the Ratchet and Clank series. Great gameplay, tons of weapons, and a pretty good storyline. These PS hits go on sale for $10 quite regularly, but it’s definitely worth the retail of $20. A must own

The way the game looks is simply beautiful and looks incredibly clear for an animated game. The story is fantastic and the fun gameplay with tons of wacky guns is exciting with each new addition. I'm a huge fan of the series and was not disappointed.

We have all the games on the PS3 so my kids were already a fan of the series. The kids play this game whenever they have the chance, from their review it's a remake of the first games with extra stuff and small changes to the story line and controls. The youngest up to the teenagers all enjoy playing it.

This game was a lot more fun than i was expecting, as I'd never played the originals. The graphics are amazing as it looks like you're playing through an animated movie. The humor is pretty good too, nothing hilarious, but it worked when it was used. It is easy to pick up and a solid 8-10 hours of fun.

I was skeptical purchasing this game due to that was being released as part of the movie but I am glad I purchased the game. It has great graphics and the story is not too long but manages to keep you engage. I recommend this game to anyone new to the series and anyone who is a fan the Ratchet and Clank

This game has the rare ability to satisfy both newcomers and fans of the original with its stunning graphics, tried and true gameplay, and cheeky humor. Forget the movie, just stick to this game for a classic platforming adventure with plenty of charm, explosions, weapons, and fun. Highly recommended

This is a remake of the original ratchet and clank game but it feels like a completely new game from the weapons to the tight controls it's a must have for any ps4 owner and a reminder of how good a platform game can be if done right.

This game is a fantastic reboot to the classic ratchet and clank series. It features some of the original environments with a lot of new content as well, which makes for one fantastic action game. There are also plenty of silly weapons which the series is known for. You cannot go wrong with us.
