Star Wars Battlefront is a good game to have on Xbox One

Love this game, can't stop playing! Recommend this game!

We bought this for our son. He enjoys playing it daily.

I read some reviews on line about this game before purchasing it and being a Star Wars fan I wanted to give it a try. It was an ok game for me. Nothing really blew me away.

Great value and great price and discount for video.

Exactly what I expected from this game it work ok.

I really Like playing the two player split screen.

I'm not a huge stars wars fan, so I didn't View it with high hopes. Overall it wasn't bad. Pretty much battlefield style but with Star Wars characters.

The game is fun however you cannot play campaign or individually. It's a online (LIVE account) game. Not terrible...which is why "ok" is my tagline

Battlefront is a good game by Shooter standards. It fits the bill nicely and is a great addition to the Star Wars game franchise (some recent installations in the film series video game catalog were less than desirable). Where it shines: Graphics: 10/10 - Visually this game is beautiful, the scenery makes you feel like you are right in the thick of it, and the active destruction on Endor when you make a tree fall by clipping it with laser fire adds to the visual impact. You can tell there was an emphasis on the aesthetic and it pays dividends. Controls: 8/10 - The game doesn't feel clunky or outdated in its approach to the classic shooter layout. It is an easy-to-learn shooter schematic. Multiplayer: 7/10 - The game handles multiplayer relatively well; I have only encountered a few games where it is stacked in favor of one team over another (those games were pretty stacked, 5 v 2, 8 v 3, etc) but all-in-all the matchmaking isn't awful and rosters are filled in a timely enough manner that most stacked situations are soon remedied. Vehicle combat: 8/10 - This is a great part of the game. It feels seamless to go from ground combat to air combat, and again the controls are easy enough to pick up. The slower you fly, the more energy is diverted to your weapons so they're more powerful. If it's speed you're after, you sacrifice firepower since more energy is diverted to your thrusters, it can make for some fun dogfights! 1st and 3rd person: 7/10 - This also feels seamless, simply press the down arrow on the D-Pad and you swap between 1st- and 3rd-person over-the-shoulder shooting. This allows you to see inside the cockpit of the classic fighters (X-Wing, A-Wing, TIE Fighter and TIE Interceptor) and also allows you to see inside the Millennium Falcon and Slave I when piloting those ships. There are some minor targeting issues when firing in 3rd-person on the ground, but all-in-all it still feels good to do. Where it can improve: Controls - melee specifically 3/10 - In a world where a lunging melee (or even moving melee) has become the standard, it feels strange to be sprinting up behind an opponent, hitting to melee them and missing because your character can't step forward one or two feet to complete the task at hand. It leaves you standing like a buffoon and in most cases can be the difference between living and dying, especially if your opponent has a DL-144 in their hand. When it registers the hit the melee is a nice added attack, especially in CQC, but it doesn't register often enough to be worthwhile in my opinion. Weapon versatility: 5/10 - There are certain guns in the game which are blatantly more powerful than others, which is fine in concept, except that sometimes it just doesn't make sense. There is a certain pistol players can unlock through either the purchase of the LE, or by grinding to rank 20 (or 25, I can't recall) and purchasing. The pistol I speak of is Han Solo's DL-144. This gun is insanely powerful: in some cases two hits are all that is needed to drop an opponent. Again, this is fine, until you find yourself being sniped by this gun. There are guns specifically created for long range combat in this game that are less accurate at range than Han's pistol. Therein lies the problem: the guns just don't feel worthwhile to use once you unlock that pistol. There are others which are fun to swap to, but you find yourself going back to that pistol. It's good for quick kills and doesn't overheat as fast as it's description implies. Single Player/Co-Op campaign: 6/10 - This isn't a complete bust, but it feels like they could've done more to immerse players in this aspect of the game. All said, this game is worth the purchase!

Bought this for my bf who is a huge Star Wars fan and he rated it 6/10. Seems like there is limited action and more of a solo player game.

Not a bad Star Wars game some of the game playing it is an overly great I enjoyed being in the fighters and flying around mainly

I'm not a skilled "gamer" so I mostly bought it just because it's Star Wars....I do enjoy playing it I'm just not that good.

thought it was going to be a lot better. It was boring. Traded it back in after a week.

I really thought it would be more to the concept, like playing Batman or Black Opts. But it's like the zombies pack.

Being a star wars fan I love this game but I do wish it had more to do solo because I am not huge on the online gaming

Not one of my favorites. I found it frustrating to get started and then became bored of it rather quickly.
