1. If you've never liked the Uncharted games and the way that they focus on scripted sequences and mostly linear gameplay, the fourth and supposedly final game isn't going to change your mind. 2. If you're new to the series I do suggest playing 1-3 first but this one does a decent enough job of setting the stage to the point that new players won't be lost, but they won't get the same emotional highs and lows that veterans of the series would. That being said, I found Uncharted 4 to be a fantastic game IF you know what you're getting into. The story saw a lot more focus and love and care this time around, the music is understated but great, and the visuals are some of the best on the PS4. The characters are more well-rounded and there's really excellent dialogue throughout. The gameplay is 50% climbing and world traversal, 20% walking and sightseeing and 30% combat. The gunplay feels tight and responsive, though some enemies towards the end are hilariously overpowered. The climbing is fun mostly thanks to the addition of the grappling hook, but in my opinion a lot of the climbing sections were incredibly dull. If it wasn't for the back and forth dialogue between characters I would have been totally bored. The visuals are excellent but aren't enough to make the climbing less of a chore. The game took me about 10 hours, and that's with some optional exploration during the longer chapters. There's multiplayer here but it feels like a lazy afterthought and doesn't have much longevity IMO. If you're a fan of the series I think you'll love this, if you're new to it then I still think it's worth checking out though it's not for everyone. I've only played through it once and I think I have a couple of re-plays left in me but I know that won't be the case for everyone. Overall it's an entertaining ride with an emotional story and exciting gameplay except during some climbing and puzzle sections. I definitely recommend it.

I saw others playing this and liked what I saw. So I bought it. It is simple to play, yet makes one think. At the time, I had not played the older versions (1,2&3), but have now. This is a much improved game from the old PS3s first 3 games. Story line is good. At times the shoot'em up part of it was more than I wanted. There are many levels you can choose from. Selecting easy is where I started, and as a beginner, could not imagine a harder level and still enjoy the game. It will be hard to put it down once you get started, total completion time will range from 12 - 20 hours. Take your time, explore and enjoy it rather than just complete it. The ending was very creative.... Well done game

My siblings and I have all played the game and it not only has a fantastic campaign but also an incredible multiplayer. Controls are responsive, it take skill to really utilize all the mechanics well and you cant beat the story telling skills of Naughty Dog. They do an incredible job and truly are masters of the Third Person Shooter. You also cant those graphics. Its downright amazing what they did with the PS4's hardware. Would definitely recommend.

Uncharted 4 is a great conclusion to the uncharted series. Good puzzles, great story, action packed conclusion. The developers really put love into this story and this ending shows it.

Rather you're looking for adventure, a great story or you just want to shoot something there is nothing like the scale and beauty of uncharted 4. Naughty Dog creates another great story that continues the adventures of Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter in search of the legendary pirate Avery treasure worth millions. With a great cast of voice actors the story demands for your attention and makes you want more. But if the story is not your cup of tea the cover-based multiplayer will. Everything feels well balance that only skills can guarantee a victory. This is a game that must be played.

The voice-acting, the set pieces, the puzzles, the story, the action, the drama! I love the Uncharted series. This final installment didn't suffer from sequelitis in the way Uncharted 3 did in my mind. Though still plenty fantastical, the game was fun and exciting to play! I have also been having a great time playing the multiplayer modes. It's a rare game that has fun multiplayer and single player modes of equal satisfaction. My one major gripe with the game is the lack of the co-op mode and the split screen for co-op and multiplayer. I've been wanting to find more couch co-op games to play with my wife and was really hoping that since previous installments of the series had couch co-op, I could get that here as well. No such luck.

Uncharted has been absolutely one of the finest series to grace any game console, and this is no different. As the first on PS4 the graphical and power boost is distinct and the story continues the excellence Naughty Dog has always brought to the fold. Tight control, puzzles that are actually fun, and Sully. What else do you need?

This is by far the best Uncharted in the series. The visuals intelligently use the PS4 to the limit. The locations are brimming with life. From exotic tropical vistas to dingy ancient caves, this game has got them all. The game reminds me of what an Indiana Jones game should have been. The cast of characters coupled with great voice acting are not only interesting but believable. The game is filled with amazing action set pieces and dynamic platforming. My only gripe is that the game really doesn't get going until 6 hours in. By then the player will discover an adventure that I thought wasn't possible on a console. Some portions I would try to fail, just so I could experience them again. The game does tend to add a few too many platforming sections towards the end to pad the gameplay, but otherwise , this does not tarnish this flawless game. I like how stealth is incorporated to some sections of level which breaks up the brilliant gun gameplay. Enemy AI are very intelligent and leads the player to finding many tactics to take down the enemies. This game has an intriguing story and awesome gameplay, why would anyone not consider buying it. If you are up to the challenge, get the best 3rd person action game for the PS4...You'll be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't have this in your collection.

Featuring stunning graphics, an excellent story, and fantastic action setpieces, Uncharted 4 is a must-own adventure for any PS4 owner. The game alternates between charm and excitement at a perfect pace, and the actual shooting feels better than any Uncharted prior. Tack on a robust multiplayer offering, and this purchase is a no-brainer.

This game is an amazing experience. It's the perfect end to one of the best game series out today. The story telling draws you in and never lets go. There was not a single downplayed element. I didn't want to put the controller down until I knew how the story was going to end. The gameplay was solid with very few moments of platforming frustration. The game world feels much more open than previous installments and much more lush. This is a must-have for anyone who likes games with strong stories and great visuals.

This game has everything you want in an RPG. An amazing story that plays like a movie, great gameplay, great controls, and some of the best graphics ever seen on the PS4. I played this on the Pro and it was silky smooth. The multiplayer is a lot of fun and all the dlc is free so for the price tag this game is well worth the pick up

A fantastic end to a great series. The only warranted complaint is that the game is long, which it is. But why do people think that's a bad thing? You're getting more for your money. The story in Uncharted 4 is better than in previous installments, I got pretty invested in what was going on whereas in previous games the story was fairly dull and forgettable. The new stealth feature makes for some genuinely fun gameplay to break up the monotonous string of gunfights common to the series. I hate multiplayer and usually don't play it, but I think I will play the Uncharted 4 multiplayer because the gameplay is just that good! Overall it's a great game, and I recommend it.

Stunning now gen graphics, great, engaging storyline. I played it on crushing difficulty and it truly is difficult with several almost impossible firefight setpieces. Nonetheless enjoyed every minute of the soul crushing difficulty. I recommend playing the game on normal and just enjoy the ride. My small gripe is the wonky vehicle driving levels. This by no means detracts from the awesomeness of this game. Highly recommended.
