Predator's first blu-ray release was bare bones, lacking special features. The second blu ray release was marred by overzealous DNR that made everything on screen look plasticy and gross. This 4k release finally delivers top notch picture quality with beautiful consistent film grain, HDR and a blu ray disc full of extra features. Buy it now!

I recently bought a big screen TV and DVD format looks a bit grainy on it. I had this movie in DVD format so when it went on sale in Blu-Ray I bought it. What a difference this makes with the big screen. Picture is clear, crisp and so much more enjoyable. Movie is action packed and began the Predator series. A must have in my opinion.

One of my favorite cult classics. The overall picture of my new 4K disc is remarkable compared to my old Blu Ray. The reds especially are brighter as is the resolution, contrast, etc.. It's almost like watching it for the first time. I saw details not seen before. Anyway, I couldn't resist the sale price and am happly with my purchase.

This had a pretty good transfer, it's never going to be perfect quality given the time the film was shot but it looks great on this format. And it loaded with some good extra content. Plus Digital if you're on the go (about standard quality in my opinion). It's worth getting or upgrading to this is you dont already own it.

I really like this movie and have wanted it on DVD for many years. I am so blessed to have it from Best buy and really appreciate you helping me build my DVD collection up. VHS are almost obsolete and I have many classics on it so I am now investing in finding the same movies on DVD and eventually Blue ray. Thanks so much!

Loved watching this movie growing up. Very entertaining and lots of replay value. Never gets boring or old to watch again! 10 stars!

The quality of 4K films, in comparison to the regular Blu-ray version, often depends upon two things: (1) the quality of the original that they have to work with; and (2) how much effort the people put into the project. Here they must have started with either the original film or a first-generation print of it.

Great movie go to bestbuy and buy it now, o wait Bestbuy bailed on customers of Physical media

Best Buy is slowly decreasing their stock of DVD's, which is disappointing to see, as people still use them and give them as gifts. It was nice seeing this on the shelf and for the price they were asking. It's a movie from my childhood and a pretty important one. The quality of the box, art and DVD is exceptional.

Predator is one of the most iconic action movies from the 1980's featuring the legendary cast of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura, just to name a few. This steelbook artwork is some of the most unique art I have ever seen on a steelbook, therefore it was a must-have for my collection!

This is the 3rd 3D movie that I have watched on our 3D tv. So, I'm no 3D expert at all..! I'm only going to talk about my 3D experience, since I assume that most people have already seen this movie. 1st, if you like this movie and you like 3D, you can't go wrong buying this movie. When you start the movie, the press Play bar looks like it's about 3 or 4 feet into my living room. Most of the 3D to me, looks like it starts at the front of my tv, and goes back (deep) about 3 or 4 feet into my tv. But one scene, objects appeared to be flying out at me so realistic, that actually moved my head so not to get hit. The Predator looks really impressive in 3D. I love this movie, and now I love 3D, so I'm happy I got it. I watched this 3D movie with the following equipment. Samsung TV 60" Model UN60JU7090FXZA / Samsung-Compatible 3ACTIVE 3D Glasses Rechargeable Twin Pack / LG-UP875 4K Ultra HD 3D Blu-Ray Player Black. NOTE, the LG Blu-Ray Player was on sale last week at Best Buy for $79.99. I bought a spare at the price. Thank you for reading my review..!

Excellent 4k transfer and Excellent movie! It also contains standard blu ray and digital

One of my favorite Schwarzenegger movies, aside from the Terminator series. I love that they're making these older movies available in higher definition and greater quality so that we can watch these on our new movie players. It's nice to watch new movies, but you can't beat the classics.

One of the best action movies ever made. This is the kind of movie that you can watch over and over again without it getting old. From start to finish this movie will keep you interested in whats going on in the movie. With hardly a lapse in action, you will be glad you purchased this movie.

The predator movie series is my favorite but the original movie that started it all was and is the best I remember back in 1987 I saw this movie in movie theaters with my mom and dad which still to this day sticks out its to me a timeless classic that this movie will never get old because it's that good

This film looks great in 4K, even better in HDR, it already looked great on Blu-ray, the score is equally impressive it truly will take advantage of your 5.1 surround, the movie can hold its own even today, one of the greatest sci-fi action films next to Aliens. Buy this today do not hesitate.

Own the 4k disc. Purchased this dvd disc on the basis of it having a good art cover which I display along with other favorite films. Highly recommend viewing this film. It's the original Predator movie and one of the two or three best sf movies ever made by the film industry.

Thus is my wife's favorite movie, so I picked it out of the display for $6. We watched it that night, and the picture quality was excellent, we really enjoyed the movie, I'd recommend to anyone, especially if you want to see special effects on a new tv.

A lot of reviews mention the abundance of film grain in this 4K release, but it's honestly not that bad. Some people find it, some don't. I myself was very impressed, and the standard blu-ray had really bad noise reduction. This one looks great.
