Predators is a great complimentary sequel to the original. Eventhough it lacks the big action star appeal and classic (cheesy) one-liners, Predators still delivers what you want from a sci-fi, action film: gunfights, suspense and a dash humor from a rich diverse group of dynamic, and stoic, characters. Adrien Brody is no Arnold, but he packed on some muscle for his role and it helps him deliver as the lead hero. Alice Braga does a great job playing a reserved, dedicated soldier. Danny Trejo does a wicked immitation of Danny Trejo. Walten Goggins does a superb job playing a sociopath. Topher Grace is very skillful playing the innocent wild card. Oleg Taktarov (15 Minutes), Mahershala Ali (House of Cards) and Louis Ozawa Changchien (numberous tv shows) are all way underused but play what little screen time they are given to their fullest considering they are cannon fodder. (The bushido scene between Hanzo and one of the Predators is immaculate and plays as though Hanzo is not just a hired gun, but well versed in his culture.) Haven't watched the deleted scenes yet. Not sure why they weren't available as an extended cut either. Regardless, enjoyed this movie and hope they make another.

Right from the opening scene, the movie pulls you in to a new take on the predator series. Great acting by Adrian Brody, Ms. Braga, and a cameo by Laurence Fishbourne that shows how easy it would be to lose your mind in the "preserve" The predators have new characteristics from previous films and it was a great change. Although a little gory at parts, the film is a fun ride with interesting characters who are at best mercenaries and at worst complete psychopaths. Good action movie, wish they would make a sequel.

A not-that-bad sequel for a great franchise. Of course the first movie was the real-deal, but I really loved the second one too, but it's hard to judge the Predors, cause directed by my fellow hungarian mate Nimrod Antal. To be honest, the film could've been better, but still like more than the terrible AVP crossover movies, yes, even with Adrien Brody in it.

Although this movie came out way later then the first two movies, I would say this movie was a great sequel. There's only so much I can say without ruining the movie but it's definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it yet. The movie starts off with a group of people waking up in a jungle. Unknown of their location, they soon discover why they were put in this place and have to face a threat so unimaginable and terrifying that only the strongest will survive. If your a fan of the Predator and Alien movies, I would definitely recommend this movie. Thanks for reading.

The predator series is one of the better in the sci-fi genre to me. The older ones with Arnold and Danny Glover were awesome for their time and they still are! Own them on blu-ray as well. There isnt much i can say without sounding like a fanboy to the series, but im glad these movies only come around every 5-10 years or more...they are great and dont need to be watered down sequels every 6 months like some of the garbage out there these days...

The fact that we get to learn a little more about the Predators and see them outside of Earth's environment is a huge plus... even though we don't learn that much more about them. This is definitely worth a watch, maybe worth a buy if you can find it cheap. The bad side is that the whole premise of the movie is thoroughly explained like who put them there. They kind of explained the 'why', though I do not think it is a strong argument.

This was a nice twist on the franchise (including the "Aliens vs." lot), having the action take place away from Earth. The basic premise (but not much else) reminded me of an old Outer Limits episode from the 60s "Fun and Games", where an ordinary human couple is transported to another world to fight a monstrous, savage alien couple to the death for the amusement of other aliens.

I have given this movie 5 stars. Why? Because this movie expanded the Predator universe a bit...the film did something new, which a lot of sequels fail to do. I was very skeptical of Adrien Brody when I heard he was cast, but I was pleasantly surprised. I saw this film in theaters and enjoyed it. Is it as awesome as the original Predator film with Arnold? No, of course not, but it's better than Predator 2. This is worth checking out if you're into the Alien/Predator universe and have not yet seen it, and it should not be compared to the other recent Alien vs. Predator movies (which were epically disappointing).

This is a pretty decent offshoot of the Predator series of movies. It seems to try to capture the feeling of the original and is mostly successful. Of course there's also 4K UHD versions of this and the other Predator movies so the edge would go to those if the capability to view that format is available.

As a fan of the original Predator and it's sequel Predator 2, I had high hopes for Predators. Thankfully, most of my expectations were met. Although it's a little derivative of the original film from 1987, Predators still brings enough fun to the table to keep it interesting. You can tell that the fiilmmakers actually cared about the franchise (unlike the two AvP films).

This movie was entertaining, if not a bit unbelievable. The Predators seem to have a disdain for the human species. After all these years, it seems that the Predators would have found a new species to fight instead of humans, since they tend to win a lot more of those encounters than loose.

Not as good as Arnold's original Predator movie but light years ahead of that ridiculous Danny (I love commies, especially Fidel) Glover near worthless effort. Okay, Adrian Brody is a little hard to believe playing a tough guy but the rest of the cast was solid along with the script.

The predator hunting world was a great idea. There were a few parts that I did not like or I thought could have been done better. Spoilers ahead. The betrayal at the end was easy to figure out. And if Lawrence Fishburne's character had been there for a while and was worried about food. Why did he look so fat. Shouldn't he have been skinny.

I did not initially expect much with this film. The recent showing of Predator movies has been lackluster and I doubted that Adrian Brody would be believable in this setting. I was pleasantly proven wrong. The cast is a fun ensemble and the story is original. I'm happy to have taken a chance on it.

Couldn't pass up the price, under ten bucks! The movie is alright...you gotta be a fan of the franchise. Worth owning to complete the collection. Came with a digital copy too, man you can't beat that with a stick!!!

Adrien Brody stars in this non-stop action-horror film.along with Danny Trejo,Walter Coggins,Lawrence Fishburne,Topher Grace. these characters wake up in mid-air falling at 30,000 feet surviving the fall to find out that they are on a diifferent planet in another Solar System. They have to stay alert due to constant life threatening situations. This is a very well done movie produced by Robert Rodriquez. A must see.

This movie is one of the better movies from the series. If I have any complaint, it would be that it follows the original movie too closely. If you were disappointed by the sequel, this might be what you consider a true sequel to the original. Even as a fan of the series, it's a must see.

You can do a lot worse when looking for an action movie for a lazy evening but you could also do better. The action and effects are serviceable and ultimately forgetable. With that said, the decision to change the setting and the overall plot are decent and unique.

If you're a fan of the original Predator and its sequel come into this one with low expectations. The acting isn't great, the plot is all over the place, but it has some decent action scenes. I've seen far worse in terms of franchise sequels but wouldn't really recommend it to someone who isn't a loyal fan of the Predator franchise. It's better than the Alien vs. Predator movies but that's not saying much. Predators script doesn't hold up and it seemed at times even the actors couldn't take their own roles seriously anymore. It has Lawrence Fishburne and Adrien Brody but even they can't save this movie. If it's cheap buy it (it's what I did) otherwise a rental is good enough.
