I had about 400 CDs in my living room in a standing tower, and in a revolving case and stacked up in piles. I decided to lock them in a cabinet which involves rearranging my house. I put this together in a day (I don't rush and take alot of breaks) Now I am ready to fill it up with CDs. I was happy with parts and holes all measuring up while assembling. The instructions weren't bad but had me questioning a few things. They could have been slightly better. I may order another larger cabinet of the same brand just for DVDs and audiobooks..

I bought this cabinet online because my old cabinet rotted out at the base. I took a risk of buying a cabinet that I could only find online not knowing how good it would be. When I got it, I had to put it together which was very easy and only took about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours. It is a really nice cabinet and is very sturdy. It seems to be a pretty strong cabinet as well and I like that it can be locked up so noone can get into my movies and games. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and I think the price is a very good deal.

Sturdier than expected. Not too difficult to assemble. Holds plenty of DVDs in a small space.

good unit for the[price. received it in timely fashion. it wsa missing the handles that open the doors but prepac was happy to replace them and I got them within a week. it took quite a while to put it together, but over all for the price I think it is a very good unit. it holds all my dvds and has room to expand my collection

A nice size for a lot of CDs & DVD's and it has an attractive appearance, but don't let that fool you - it's not the most durable cabinet in the world and it wasn't the easiest to set up. I don't believe it's priced right either. It's a $100 cabinet all day long. I had gift cards and coupons to use so I paid about what I should have. I'm torn on whether or not I would buy it again or refer a friend. Don't get me wrong, it will accomplish what your looking for, but I don't understand why they think it's worth the price on the sticker.

It was easy to assemble. There is a lot of room for all the dvds I needed to store. Looks great. Very sturdy.

Hard to read instructions and screws and bolts substandard. Needs better way to close doors and more space inside had large panel in the center that obscures view inside the cabinet. Would never buy something so shoddie and hard to use product again.

This is great. I used it to store all my old video games from the 80s and its adjustable shelves and large storage capacity enabled me to store a large quantity of randomly shaped objects efficiently

If you want something that is not going to last long and is cheap, this is your product. It took forever to put together and when it was done the doors wouldn't close. The licking piece won't stay in place and you have to wiggle it to get it to stay.

I love this cabinet. It holds my entire collection. Very easy to assemble..

I have owned this product for over a year now. It is durable. It looks nice both open and closed. There is a center support, which is necessary in order to make this cabinet rigid, and durable though it is inconvenient to remove DVDs that are just behind this support. You will need to remove several DVDs to one side of the support and slide the selected Dvd directly behind the support to one side for removal. If you place this cabinet on carpet, it will lean backwards against the wall when opened because the load is off center. This does not happen when the doors are closed i.e. load equalized. This was not a problem for me. This leaning will not happen if the cabinet is place on a non-carpeted floor. It is durable. It hold allot of media. The construction was of quality. It was somewhat time consuming to assemble. The assembly instructions were easy to follow.

This entertainment set changed my husbands life ! He loved the fact that it opened to reveal more storage and took up less space ! I would recommend this to someone who does not have a lot of spacial areas in their room. It held most of our dvds and it was capable of not breaking. Another thing i like was how sturdy it was! My husband first thought that it could not hold all of our 300+ dvds. But later he realized that it held the maximum capacity and more! This was one of the best buys that i have had from BestBuy yet! If you want something that you can depend on! Than this is your product.

I would happily give these shelving units 5 stars except for one major flaw: the company needs to offer more shelves as a "sold separately" add-on. I have three of the largest shelving units, but I don't have enough shelves to store my copious collection of DVDs, so there are just "voids" in the units.

The "assembly required" statement sometimes requires a degree in brain surgery but not with this product. It was simple to assemble, only taking an hour or so. I have massive amounts of media (video games, dvds, etc.) and was able to store enough into two (yes, I bought two) of these cabinets that I just saved about 10 cardboard boxes worth of space riddled throughout my bonus room. The approx four foot height is perfect because my bonus room is a converted attic space so the side walls start to angle inward at slightly over four feet. They fit perfectly against the wall. Overall, with the maximum storage capacity and ease to assemble for these units, they were easily worth the price.

I like this case for its looks and compact style. It comes with a lock that I did not care about. However, the lock is the only thing that holds the right hand door closed and it broke on first use. That left me with no way to latch the right hand door. I had to improvise an alternative using a magnetic catch. Installing the magnet required partial disassembly of the case.

I purchased two of these cabinets and they are great. One of the boards was damaged but quickly replaced by the manufacture with one phone call. My husband didn't look to have any trouble putting them together and when he did they are just as pictured. Even though they were taller than I anticipated. I like that they really can hold Disney VHS's which was a definite plus for me. .

This thing is nice for the price. I love how much storage it has. It's very deep and very heavy for earthquake stability. The lockable feature is a nice touch so you can stash some things away. I have gotten countless compliments on this cabinet, do yourself a favor and buy it! You wont regret it.

My wife purchased this item for me for Christmas. It lists for $169.99, but by the time you add sales tax and shipping (it's only available online) it's about $250.00. When I received the box I unpacked it and discovered that Prepac did not include the back, ergo I was unable to assemble the piece without it. I contacted Prepac and they mailed the missing piece...3 1/2 weeks after contacting them it arrived. During this time I had just left all the other contents in the box. When the back finally arrived, I took all the pieces out to assemble. To my surprise, i discovered that BOTH of the the cabinet door fronts were scratches up BADLY and that only approximately 2/3 of the predrilled holes were actually drilled into the piece (yes I realize I should have thorougly inspected all of the pieces upon arrival. I was just upset at the time because I had not receivd ALL of the pieces). Anyway, I sent the whole piece of junk back. For $250.00 this should have been a MUCH better quality cabinet AND experience. Don't waste your time and money with this thing. There a plenty of other choices for this amount of money.

Looks great in my living room, cleans up all my video's & cd's.
