This DVD case holds a decent amount of movies plus keeps them protected from dust. The floor has to be perfectly flat for the doors to close properly but its an easy fix if not by using cardboard underneath.

I had owned four movie cabinets - then my house was flooded and all the cabinets were ruined. I was looking to replace those cabinets and therefore I bought this cabinet. It looks decent, but the door mechanisms are horribly and shoddy. While my old cabinets had magnets that would keep the door closed, this cabinet you "have" to lock to keep the door closed. It came with a cheap lock that broke the second time I used it. It also has a strange lock system for the left side door - where you have to reach inside and push a peg into a hole - which never ever lines up. So the doors do not stay closed. Terrible product.

Easy assembly, good looking and functional. Serves the purpose for which it was purchased.

This product is good for what it is, and it locks, which is helpful when one has a 1 year old. However, it is not pretty to look at.

Not too difficult to assemble and is a great way to store our collection of music.

While the style and look of the storage unit is great... The size of the unit could be a little bigger!

I finally came to the point in my life where I needed to look for a bigger and better DVD storage unit. I found it in this product. Once completed you feel that it was worth the money and has plenty of room for your DvD's. Here are some quick thoughts on this PrePac Multi-Media Storage. It comes with a quite of few pieces, but it's not hard to put together. Should take you between 2 - 3 hours. Make sure you're close to the proximity of where you want to it and clear some space for yourself. It weighs close 60 lbs. Only difficulty I had with piecing together this unit, was with putting on the doors to the unit. I had to use 2 drill bit extentions between the unit and doors, this gave me the perfect spacing to attach to the unit. The latch, not the lock was a little bit of a challege to get into the hole, so the one door can stay closed. I had to use my drill and widen the hole just a little bit. My only 2 gripes I have with this unit are that the handles looks like it came from the 80's (they don't look cheap, just not that stylish) and the oak color is more like a medium oak (if you need to compare it). These are very minor and shouldn't persuade anyone from buying this fabulous product.

This DVD cabinet is able to store several DVD's in a small space. It seems to be very sturdy. The only complaint I have is the directions could have been more specific. After spending hours assembling the cabinet, I realized as I was trying to attach the doors that the door with the pre-drilled hole for the lock was upside down. i.e. dis-assembly is required to correct it. Otherwise a great product.

This storage unit looks really nice once it's assembled. I like that it has a lock on it. And it holds the DVD's and CD's nicely. There are a couple of fixed shelves that I didn't care for. I would have had them placed lower, buy hey, all in all it's really nice and sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a storage unit that isn't big and bulky. It only takes up 2 feet of space. Love it!!

Once this arrived I thought noooo this is gonna suck I have to build it but I was wrong. This comes with step by step instructions and if followed correctly its an easy build. When I finished i was very pleased with how sturdy it was and compact so it didn't take up too much room. I love this product and I would recommend this to everyone. P.S. It has a lock that is pretty cool in my book.

The PREPAC Multimedia Storage was exactly as I expected. However because I was only going to use it for CD's, I was short 1 long and 2 short shelves. We called the company to see if we could order extra shelves....and they sent the additional shelves at no charge! Simply amazing. I am very happy with the product. My husband assembled this for me while I was at work, so I can't comment on the level of challenge.. However we did not install the lock as we have no need to lock our CD's.

I would recommend avoiding this product at all costs. For starters, the original package that was shipped to me didnt have the top of the unit or door pieces. It took over a month to have both shipped to me from the purchase date. Installiation was no cake walk either. I have built more than a couple projects and this was the most "user unfriendly" project. Instructions were very complicated and unclear and just added salt to the wound. Finally, the finished product looks very cheap and the "locking feature" is a lock a 5 year old could break into and offers no security whatsoever.

This storage unit is a great value compared to others out there. It does require assembly but it really is very easy and doesn't require any special tools. Has adjustable shelves to store both DVD's and CDs (or burned DVDs in CD cases)

This is a very good product to buy. It locks for privacy of your cds of dvds. I will recommend this product to family with kids.

This came as a box of random pieces and sawdust covered them all so I had to clean them first. Also some of the pieces were damaged, and the installation was not easy at all. This product is made to be easy, however if you do not plan ahead in the build then you will be redoing a lot of steps, that was my case anyways. I also do not like how they say it is a locking storage cabinet when only one side of the cabinet locks and you can just reach into that side when opening the other side.

Good value for the price. I priced others that were more expensive and were comparable in style and workmanship.

This is a very nice storage cabinet. Very easy to put together.

Hardware didn't fit right off the bat ! Took it back & got refund.
