The back panel could be better because it is three separate pieces so the seam of each piece is nailed on the two middle uprights which does not give the nails much to go into. If the panel were one piece with the fiolds where the uprights are, this would give the unit better stability and also give the assembler a mark to place the nails. All in all this is a good product and it goes well with the decor.

I now have 4 of these in my home theater. Great solid Oak and no cheap stuff (except cardboard backing). This does get a little unstable when full but its fine if you have it against a wall which most everyone does. For the price vs. quality vs. storage you can't beat this one, trust me.

This is really pretty cheap considering how much it holds. Being able to change shelf heights is why I choose this over other units. Building it was pretty simple, but I would suggest to add the bottom pegs before assembling it, they are a little tricky to do from an angle.

The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the directions are poorly written. I placed the vertical dividers on upside down and then realized something wasn't quite right with directions so be forewarned. Other than assembly issues it is a nice addition to any entertainment room.

I regret having purchased this dvd shelf. Upon opening the first thing I noticed was how small the shelves were. They leave a good half an inch hanging off on either side of them when you place a dvd in. While you are nailing in the back wall (which is flimsy) you can very easily send a nail right through any of the middle top or bottom walls. And lastly, after assembly and after you put in your collection, the thing is very wobbly. I have it on carpet so maybe having it on hard floors would be better but whenever I put in or pull out a dvd the whole thing wobbles. It is supposed to come with a strap to mount it to the wall with (mine didn't) however falling forwards is not the concern, as it has a good bit of a lip on the bottom to keep that from happening, its leaning backwards that worries me, and theres nothing to be done about that I guess. Go with something modular if you want my advice.

great for large dvd collections. nice looking unit. holds a good amount of movies. only downside is the backboard.

Looks good and holds a lot of media. Problem is I have too many dvds and this isn't big enough. FML
