I read the instructions at the company web site and reviews at Amazon. I bought from Best Buy for both price and ease of returning if I didn't like it. I am a heavy computer user. I had bilateral carpal tunnel release in 1987. For about the last 6 months, I've been developing trigger finger in two fingers where the ligament catches when you open the hand. It can permanently curl the hand if not taken care of, perhaps with surgery. My chiropractor showed me how to put my elbow close to my body, turn my palm up, and bend the fingers backward and down to stretch the ligaments. Then he had me extend my arm and do the same thing. This was giving relief, but I was having to do it several times a day. I've used the HandShoe mouse for 17 days now. I haven't needed to do the hand stretching exercise for about 3 days. The only issue I've had with the mouse is figuring out my workstation. It requires that your elbow be supported on either your desk or the arm of your chair. I experimented with supporting my arm on the desk. This placed the mouse much higher than the keyboard and I found that I instinctively kept bringing the mouse down to keyboard level which left my elbow unsupported. The position of the monitor prevented me from moving the keyboard up so that my working area was straight across from typing to using the mouse. Then I experimented with resting my elbow on the arm of my chair. This is working much better, but I'm finding that the keyboard is more comfortable turned at an angle. The keyboard foot closest to the edge keeps dropping off. I use an old-fashioned desk with a secretarial arm for typewriters. I'm going to put a new top on it that is 4-6" deeper (24-26") which will allow my elbow to rest on the desk and easily move back and forth between the keyboard and mouse. I love the mouse and the result I'm getting with my hand. It just takes a little bit getting used to and figuring out the best way to set up your work station. I bought the cordless model.

A good mouse to help with trigger finger and carpal tunnel. The mouse comes in three sizes and Best Buy only carriers the small therefore I had to return the mouse. I purchased medium thru Amazon and love the mouse. It will take you about a week or so to get use to it. Worth the money

I have arthritis and using this mouse helps relive pain in my wrist and hand.

Feels different to use this mouse. Returned it after a couple of days as we felt it was small. Sized it per the instruction on the manufacturer website and bought the largest size per fit. However it turned out to be a tad small for the hand. If Best Buy had the next bigger size available in store, we may have tried again. Bought another mouse as bigger size was not readily available.
