Love Pride and Prejudice, my favorite movie, love Colin Firth. Jane Eyre is great too, a version I never saw before. All movies were great.

My wife suggested this set. It is clearly the best cast and acted that is available for viewing.

THEIR ACTING IS SUPERIOR AND SPOT ON TO THE BOOK. THE LANGUAGE ENTHRALL'S YOU INTO THE BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF JANE AUSTEN. THE COSTUMES ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE SCENERY TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY. THE VERY FIRST SCENE WERE YOU SEE MR.DARCY AND BINGLEY FOR THE FIRST TIME GIVES YOU A TASTE OF THE SUPERB ACTING TO COME. EVERYTIME I READ THE BOOK I IMAGINE THESE ACTORS. THEY ARE THEIR CHARACTERS. FIVE STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS MOVIE!

This movie is by far one of the best cinematic interpretations of classic literature to grace the shelves. The costumes, setting and characters blend to create a truly entertaining and moving experience. I have two sons, 17 and 10, who love to watch this movie with me every school break. It's a tradition in our house and we can't start it without finishing it. It gives today's world keen insight into a time when men were gentlemen and ladies were virtuous and modest despite their savage passions.

This is one of the best love stories ever. If you are undecided because of content, don't be. This is totally worth the time. It is completely true to the novel it's based on. It was first a mini-series, so it is a little long, about 5 hours. But, even without the modern explosives and all that, it's a thrilling movie of emotions. I just love it. And for around $20, it's a really good deal.

This is one of the best loved books of all time and now it is in movie form. I throughly enjoy watching this movie. This movie has no questionable scences and is family friendly. This movie doesn't have any questionable language as most movies now a days. I highly recommend you purchase this movie. It is a movie that you can watch over and over.

This BBC mini-series is the only one to buy!!!! Blu-Ray Keepsake Edition is outstanding. Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle are perfect as well as the rest of the cast. MUCH, MUCH better than the 2005 movie. Jane Austen would be proud.

This BBC series is great - it still is relevant and and is regarding as *the* adaptation. The restoration on the Keepsake Edition is a true labor of love, and it really shows. Colors are more vibrant than ever and the picture has been opened up to fit 16x9 without losing anything.

This blu-ray is a huge improvement over the old dvd set that I have. I was disappointed that the picture is very grainy in places however and doesn't fit my definition of blu-ray quality. I still would have bought though as like I said it is very improved from the dvd which was very bad quality. The first blu-ray I received was defective, but BestBuy was great about the replacement. Great service. This is the best version of P&P in my opinion, and the extra features are great.

This is the defifinitive film version of the classic novel. There are no compromises made in the story telling and the faithful and respectful manner in which the series was makes it all the better.
