I've been a hardcore Gears of War fan since it debuted on the XBOX 360. I have never really purchased strategy guides mainly due to the internet and youtube videos if I for example needed to find all the COG tags or what have you. I considered this guide just based on being a Gears fan and mostly because I had a 50% off Gamer Club Unlocked coupon for any game guide purchase. I cannot understate this is one expensive guide at a womping $50.00!!! The many benefits included starts with it being a hardcover. It comes with metal COG dog tags which are very nice for collectors. It also includes two DLC booster packs. I'm not sure if they are random, but the two I received were valued in the game as $1.99 each real world US currency. Other bonuses include digital guides for Gears 1-4 (not the prequel Judgement). The bonuses are great, however $50.00 is asking for a lot as it's technically more than the game itself if you are a gamer club unlocked member and recieve 20% off your new game purchases (which would make Gears 4 $47.99). Lastly, the pages are not the best quality. There's ink markings on many pages. It's not a deal breaker. They get the job done. Speaking of pages, they do have beautiful gallery photos of the characters and scenery in the game. Paying $25.00 with the coupon still felt expensive to me. Great bonuses, but with the internet now a guide for us, these prices for physical guides are getting ridiculous. I gave this review 4 stars for the hardcover book & included bonuses. Took off 1 star due to being very expensive. By the way, the game itself in awesome!

Decent deal. Came with gears of war 1-4 electronic book code to redeem online as well and gears of war 4 physical book. Dog tags included are a nice touch. Detailed images, decsriptions. I priced matched in store to amazons price and got a great deal

Look past the high price point and get this guide. It has everything you need to finish the game with 100% completion. Super helpful for all the game modes.

This is a must have for the GOW franchise. Gives tips and tricks as well as much needed info to maximize game play.

Used it just to get all collectibles for campaign. Some typos and other minor errors in the book. But for me it did the job intended.

A little disappointing the package was about a fifth of the material was cardboard not part of guide.

This book really lets you go through the whole game, find hidden goods, and displays maps for co-op.

I really love Gear of War 4 Collector's Edition Guide especially the map that comes with it.

More for the collection side, but also helpped me out get all the collectables in the game!
