I wanted to see maps of all the courses and it was nice being able to read more about the strengths and weaknesses of the various characters as well.

Full color guide that is not as large as Prima's traditional guides, but offers the same amount of content including all 48 race tracks, all 8 battle arenas, character and kart part information, and more. The only issue I have with the guide is the occasional use of art and assets from Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii, for some reason.

My kids really wanted this game for christmas and are looking forward to playing it.

One of the few times when the print guide is better than using the internet. Great maps for finding shortcuts and charts of stats to find the best character/kart combinations.

My kid loves Mario but doesn't like reading so much. After I bought him this guide he spends a lot of time reading it. He even tells me when I'm driving a course wrong

Got this guide for $4 and I don't regret it at all! Even if you know all the in's and out's of MK8 still pick this up! It's a great guide!

The physical copy is better than the free version that comes with it. The free version you have to be connected to the internet. Which suuucks

Some stats are off but I picked it up as I love guides wether I use them or not. It has some helpful tools and kart ratings to reflect back one. Just a nice addition to the game.

Not a bad choice if you want to see the dlc maps that was not in the Wii U strategy guide of Mario Kart 8. It also has maps and guides of the new battle mode and tips for winning.

This guide is great. I highly recommend it for those playing Mario Kart on the Switch.
