Game guides have to go above and beyond to be worth buying when its so easy to use internet guides. This one does an excellent job. For collectors this edition comes with two beautiful lithographs featuring the game cover art and a group shot of Fidel, Miki and Relia as a nice bonus. Maps are important and this guides gives a perfect one for each area with treasure, resources and save points labelled clearly so nothing can be missed. Monsters in the area pictured with their levels and drops as well as the page number in the bestiary for more information. Shop items and prices labelled as they appear as well as update. Quests and private actions are labelled when available and where to trigger the event and/or items needed. There's an item and crafting guide in the back pages which really helpful when trying to locate items needed doubly so for players who want a 100% completion. This is a useful guide with beautiful screen shots that fans of Star Ocean should get. I prefer the hardcover this one has but its near impossible to find a guide that didn't have dented corners which is where I took off a star. Five star item if you can find it mint.

Strategy guides aren't really a necessity with the internet and all but I got it as a bundle with the game on launch week and didn't have to pay much so it was nice to have. It does a good job at covering the basics, but thats about it. I still had to talk to some people in forums to find out an easy way to craft certain things. If I pay $35 (retail) for a strategy guide, it had better well have anything and everything covered in it, and this one does not. 1 star for the basic info, and 1 star for having some useful end-game stuff. -3 for the completely terrible organization of the guide, it's hard to find anything post-game wise.

I have purchased game guides, particularly for role-playing games, since the days of PlayStation 1. In recent years I had stopped purchasing guides because they seemed either incomplete or it didn't add anything beyond what you can now find online. But when I saw this edition for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness I decided to give it a try. A great decision, as this guide is filled with every single thing you could want or need to find in the game. The hard cover is beautiful, as are the graphics inside, and it comes with a free download of the guide so that you can access this information should you be away from home or don't have the guide with you when you're playing. To top it off, it comes with two beautiful and stunning limited edition lithographs that complete this beautiful collection. If you're a fan of the series, or you appreciate beautiful graphics and well put together guides for role playing games, this is an absolute must have!

If you're going blind into the game i highly recommend buying this guide. Really explains everything in detail, if i ever got lost the guide quickly told me where and what to do. If you wanna squeeze everything the game has to offer then buy this guide.

Great book great for finding hidden items and side quest.

The guide is great if you don't want to play the game while reading walkthroughs on your phone or laptop. Detailed bonus dungeons and item creation. But the $35 is hard to spend.

This guide is perfect to have alongside you as you are playing Star Ocean 5. It is nicely put together and the artwork and presentation is gorgeous. A must have for any fan of Star Ocean.

This was the one thing I forgot to get it when I ordered my collectors edition star ocean from Square-Enix online website and this is definitely making it a complete collection great book

Hands down this guide is a collectors item and this game world is huge and easy to get turned around in battles. This guide also some really good artwork from the game.

The guide is really nice and it comes with two posters. The guide is in a hard back and it has a ton of information on the game. I would recommend for the posters.
