I used for the basics and getting started and it was great for that.

I was really looking forward to The Witcher, and knowing how vast the game would be I knew I had to have this guide to go with it. It's a high quality product and contains a lot of useful information as well as fun bonuses to check out if you are a fan of the series. The grimoire was an added bonus to add to the lore that the game and it's world establishes.

Great guide for a giant game filled with lots of good information.

I don't normally buy strategy guides but I had a coupon for 50% off and witcher is a giant epic game so why not? It's $40 price tag is a little high but the quality is top notch!

Ok, for most games now you can look up whatever quest you need help with on the internet. That being said, game guides are still great for looking up background stories, pictures, and other trivial information. The included "compendium" is well done and feels like the books that typically come with collector's edition games.

This guide is beyond the norms. The guide is beautifully put together. I had to read a lot to get the answrs to my questions.

I seldom recommend game guides any more, but given the scope and breadth of the Witcher 3, it's good to have access to maps, quest lines, Gwent card locations, and more. I would recommend this guide for the Lore alone, as I love the world of The Witcher.

I had originally thought that I would be using this guide to help me through my first RPG step-by-step, but quickly found out that you could spend just as much time filtering through the guide than you do playing the game. I still use the guide when coming across quests and tasks that I am uncertain of, which is a huge help. I would recommend this for anyone that is trying to get the full game out of the Witcher 3 as there really seems to be an endless amount to see and do.

This is an amazing guide, that is very well made, I like the "old fashioned" design style of the different sections. The collector's edition also comes with a nice additional journal to keep as a collectible. Very reasonable price for what you get.

The Witcher 3 is a huge game, the maps are gigantic, the quests are incredibly detailed and long, and the smallest decisions you make can decide major events in the game. So why not have a guide that helps yo decide how the story should end?

Guide is written very well and accurate. This is collectors edition, so it is hard bad. Comes with gorgeous compendium. Was going to buy at another store for full price, worth it, but Best Buy had it $10 cheaper making it a great deal.

I had preordered this and with gamers unlocked got it cheaper than the regular guide! And when I got it there is a digital map as well as a art book, with the hardcover edition of the guide. Was very happy with this version!

The book is helpful for quick reference, but is immediately outdated because of DLC and game changes, however the digital guide that comes with it seems to be kept up to date and the interactive maps are very useful.

I am so glad I purchased this guide because I would have been lost without it! There are so many secrets, treasures and extras that I would have missed if I just went into the game without this. Highly recommended!
