Forgotten gem!

This is a gritty classic and truly unique from the Hollywood blockbuster hokum you get today. Real stars, great script, unbearable tension and very violent. You need this film in your collection.

Medium Well Movie.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A movie like this would be difficult to duplicate for its release from the 1970's. A blend of crime drama, cornball humor, and Western shoot-ups; Lee Marvin's Nick is a mob enforcer from Chicago set to have Hackman's redneck thug in Missouri pay the outfit 50K or die. Rescuing a young girl (Spacek) from human trafficking, the movie plays on with shoot-ups and chatter that seem more silly than serious. The movie is good for fans of the actors but feels like just about any crime-action film.
