I like the “Primeval: New World” the complete series. I watched it on the Syfy channel and when I got hooked on the series, it got cancelled, that is the Syfy channel for you. There were some missing questions about the series and found there was a Primeval series before “Primeval: New World” that was on BBC. I checked the Best Buy website and found “Primeval” volume 3 was the only one on blu-ray, so I bought it. After watching volume 3, I wanted to get volumes one and two which were only on DVD. That was a rip off that they did not have these two volumes on blu-ray. Hopefully the two volumes will be remastered and put on blu-ray soon, but for now I bought the two volumes on DVD and will start from the beginning to find out how the series began. The three volumes total 36 episodes, fast paced but will keep you coming back for more. So if you like dinosaurs mixed with time travel and great special effects, I recommend “Primeval” volumes 1 thru 3 and “Primeval: New World” to add to your collection. I am a fan of this series and love it so much- and I miss it so much too! that's why I had to have it. It's worthwhile having if you're a fan of the series too I think.

Overall a wasted opportunity to build on British vetsion.Some aspects of the plot were far fetched even for Sci Fi. Special effects were well done but should have been main focus of series. Characters were one dimensional due to poor writing. Too bad wasted a proven premise.
