Underrated Gem

John Carpenter in 4K!

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prince of Darkness has always been a strange film, but very effectively creepy with its visuals and tone. The idea to mix religion and science into the story is unique and much appreciated. Regular Carpenter actors, Donald Pleasance and Victor Wong, are both great in the film. The picture quality is great, considering this is a film source, which transfers very well to UHD. Sound holds up well, and is as good as it will likely ever be on a home media format.
