I don't know but i couldn't get it into this movie again. It was well written and the actors are great, it might be the barrage of religious horror movies i have seen since that has made me numb to them. Since i now own it, i will try rewatching it a few months and hope for the best.

Film looks very good in 4K. Detail is crisp and color is rich and vibrant. It includes a good amount of special features.

Prince of darkness is one of the better John Carpenter films. This blu ray is one of the better transfers, and has quite a few great features including some fun commentary.

Prince if Darkness looks and sounds good in 4K but is just not as entertaining/compelling and as some of John Carpenter’s other films I would rent this one before you buy it for sure.

Kudos to Scream Factory for giving this release the attention to detail it deserves. The DVD extras are lackluster due to Carpenter's comatose personality. I also applaud Scream for making some stand-alone DVD releases that are at a reasonable price point (many of their releases are quite costly).

Excellent restoration! Scream factory never fails to put out some of the best physical media. Love this film.

This is the best I've seen this film look, great transfer by SHOUT. One of the overlooked Carpenter movie that deserves a viewing for fans of Halloween, Escape from New York or The Thing. Nice steelbook to add to my collection of Carpenter steelbooks.

John Carpenter fan here. I like this movie for it's exploration of science and religion. Natural vs supernatural. Good music and mood. One original repeating scene stands in my memory!

when you think John Carpenter you might not think of this film but you really should. This is a great horror movie and the 4k transfer is well done you won’t be disappointed
