For something based off a video game, it was ok. It definitely could have been better. Maybe a different lead actor might have made it better.

This was my boyfriend's pick. It was okay, but not my cup of tea. Best Buy had a great price on it though, so no gripes there!

Great movie a plot some action maybe more fighting

I expected to like this movie, and was afraid I would be disappointed. I wasn't. It isn't epic, but it is a great piece of entertainment. Well acted, and a good balance of intensity and humor. It will be one my family will re-watch often. If you liked the video game, you'll enjoy the movie (I had lost my copy of the game and went and bought a new copy of it the day after seeing this movie, so that should tell you how much we enjoyed it). The surround sound is good quality - present, but not overdone. (It's not comparable to some of the top surround movies like Master & Commander.) Picture quality is also very good. Digital copy is easy to redeem, and excellent quality. I haven't yet watched the DVD copy. I haven't looked at any of the DVD extras, so I can't comment on them.

I loved this movie. My husband has played the game, and it really works well with the story of the game. The actors were good. This is an excellent movie for guys and girls. The guys love the action, and the girls like the love story. Jake Gyllenhaal isn't bad on the eyes at all here either. My husband liked Gemma Arterton also. The special effects are really great too. It is very action packed and it has some good humor in it. I love period movies, and I just couldn't get enough of the scenery. This was shot in Morocco, and I hope to go there someday. They went to great detail to make this movie look authentic to the period. I plan to watch it again and again!

Good movie with well developed plot and character development! The acting was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The only disappointment came when accessing the extras... I am a fan of commentary by the actors and this movie does not have that. Still bought it anyway and I would definitely recommend this movie to my friends.

after reading the critic's reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but once again I find that my opinion of a movie is much higher than the critics- if you are looking for a good action packed few hours this is a great movie. Great special effects, fast moving plot- I actually had to go back and watch a second time to make sure that I got it all! definitely ranks higher on my list than other video games converted to movies in the past

Great to watch on our regular dvd player but even better on Blu-Ray and super to load onto our laptop computers. Saw the film in the theatre and really enjoyed it....loads of action and lots of fun. Jake G. is great fun in this since he's relatively new to action flicks and he's very pleasant to look at.

I really loved this movie. It had a great cast who put on an amazing and fun performance, awesome story, great effects, romance and incredible fight sequences. I really hope they are putting a sequel together despite the low box office. I don't know how this didn't do well. I really wish I would have gone to see it in the theater.

To my surprise, this is actually a great movie! The scenery and storyline are well done! The extra DVD Copy along with the digital copy are a great addition. I loaded the digital copy onto my Droid II and I let a friend of mine borrow the DVD to watch it!

This film looks great and the acting is very good etc. however for some reason i felt the plot was predictable and all the chase scenes came across as overdone and tiresome it felt like i was watching the same chase over and over again. there is alot of running in this movie so much that i felt tired by the time it was all over this made me feel like the movie was about 20min too long....i suppose if you play the game then the run jump run etc etc action in this film is more for you. for me it felt like a indiana jones rip off with a cool dagger and a hot girl....not very original....

This is a great family movie great action ,lots of great camera angles ...just an all around good movie ....If your a fan of the video game series this is a must buy for you!

Prince of Persia is a great game series and this movie really captured the action of it. Really awesome shots and scenes that I love. Great all-around movie.
