Movie was only ok. Did not seem to have the same polish that other Disney movies have.

Although I have just about all the DisneyMovies, I waited until this one was on sale.

I really enjoyed this movie..It is a good family movie with good values

I bought this for my three year old grand-daughter because I thought it was for children like Little Mermaid, etc. It is more for a much older child. It had lots of references to things a three year old would know nothing about. Very disappointed. These movies should have the age range on them.

My grandkids loved this movie. Great detail in Blu-ray.

Princess and the Frog is so cute we now have a copy at Gramma's house too!

Not the best of the Disney movies, but it was alright.

Great movie. Love it. However the DVD is no longer working. No scratches or anything. Just won't read. Blu ray disc works fine

I was very disappointed that this DVD skipped, was stuck, halfway thru the movie. It was definitely defective.

I had to purchase this movie a second time because we played it too much and our first copy started skipping. Since the Blu Ray Combo pack came with a DVD and digital copy it was perfect for us. My 1 year old watches it at rest time so momma can clean the house. I love it because the story is one of Disney's first Prince tales. So I don't feel guilty that my boy loves it so much. Yes, Tiana has a goal and she achieves it, but the prince has more than a pretty face, he learns a lesson too. It is a great movie for modern audiences and still delivers the princess ending. The music is also great. I agree with the review "best soundtrack since the Lion King" that was advertised in the commercials.

Disney's The Princess & the Frog could not have been more of a wonderful example of how 2D animation can be as good, or even better, than the computer animation that has dominated the last years. The story returns to the classic Disney style of film, along with some new morals and magic to amaze and inspire. The songs are beautiful, the music strikes various chords, the characters are memorable, and the villain and his minions are right up there with all the Disney rest. For all Disney fans this is a must for any,and all, Disney collections, and for everyone else, this is a must for remembering that "Dreams do come true".

I absolutely love this movie & how it captures the spirit of New Orleans, while adding some of that Disney magic we all know & love. I've been a huge fan of all things Disney ever since I was a kid, & I gained a whole new respect for this movie after I was lucky enough to work at Disney's Port Orleans Resort in FL for almost a year. This movie always brings me back there. I guess you could say it holds a special place in my heart now. As far as the product itself, I absolutely loved the packaging! I got this as a belated Christmas gift to myself, after looking all over town for it. I went to Best Buy, because I had a feeling I'd be able to find it there. Sure enough, it was the last one in stock in my store at the time! It came with a beautiful, shiny, somewhat holographic slipcover. I just love it!

We were lucky enough to see this in the theatre with our son. When I purchased this I wasn't sure if my 2 1/2 yr old daughter would enjoy this Disney clasisc. Much to my surprise my daughter was signing and dancing along with the characters. My son who is 10 was happy that I had purchased it and opened it immediately. He notified us that we were having a Movie nite. This is another wonderful Disney classic. It gives kids a little history on New Orleans. As an adult thiis is another of my Disney favorites and hope that other famiilies will enjoy it as much as my family did.. :-)

This movie was awesome. My grandkids, ages 6, 7, and 9 watched it 3 times the first day and have watched it another dozen times since. It is one of the dvds that they take with them in their vehicle when they go somewhere. They absolutely loved it and can recite the whole movie word for word. I enjoy purchasing such movies for them, that bring them laughter and joy and that holds their attention and also takes them into another world of magic. Thanks for making yet another super Disney movie!!

OK, the packaging for the film advertises "From the Directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin". We all remember those 2 films, huge hits, Oscar winning music, memorable characters & scenes. So, when you see that you expect Princess & the Frog would be the same right? Nope. It is a decent film. Did decent box office. But can we remember any characters, scenes or the music? No. Did it win any Oscars for anything? No. Good animation. As I input this review after purchasing this set July of 2012 Disney just released 1995's Oscar winning hit "Pocahontas" . That Oscar winning film & the sequel did NOT have as good of extras as this film has on this blu ray/DVD package. There is a Making of for this film & several other extras. So, if you or your child are Disney fans you should like the film. It does NOT require repeat viewings anytime soon. Today was the first time I have seen the film since 2010.

We bought this for our 2 1/2 -year-old daughter for Christmas, along with a Princess Tiana fleece blanket. :) She absolutely loves this movie and so does our 3 1/2-year-old son! Our kids both seem to scare easily, and I was worried certain parts of this movie would scare them, but so far so good. I don't know exactly what it is about this movie that the kids love, but they get really into it. They definitely really like the music. That always captures their attention.
