    The technician was fabulous! He corrected the printer problem and went on to clean up some software issues from my computer to avoid future problems. Thank you!!!

    Geek Squad set up printer, and got everything work

    Jim from the Geek squad came out on two occasions to trouble shoot and set up new computer and printer and coordinate all data from all devices. He was absolutely amazing, patient, and respectful. He worked very hard at getting things right.

    Tech was friendly and efficient. Quickly identified issue and fixed the problem. He explained what was causing problem and told me what he was doing as he fixed the printer. I appreciate that!

    Jose was Great, like always. Fixed the issue ,that was not fixed from a previous visit by other techs.AND had to pay $80.00 .AND I am in the Program. Go Figure!!

    I have a working printer that needs lubrication. On August 7, 2025, I called Best Buy to see if they did that service. The Service Appointment Representative said that they did and I needed to make an appointment for in home service. They told me that I needed to first download an app to my computer to give them access to the computer, pay a $40+ fee for the service and then I would then be transferred to the person that would do the service or make an appointment. The next representative got on my computer online and started changing drivers. I told the person to stop doing that because I had no problem with software. I wanted lubrication maintenance on my printer. They said they would schedule an appointment for Sep 2 and the upfront fee was $136.55. I paid the fee and the appointment was made. I did all the prep for the appointment as instructed and when the service person called to inform me they were on the way, I asked them what service they planned to perform for me. They said they were installing a printer. I said no, that is not what I scheduled the appointment for. I scheduled it for Lubrication maintenance. They said they do not perform that service. So, they cancelled the appointment and said they would refund the money. I got a notice of the cancelation and the refund, but when I checked the amount of the refund, it was $0.00. So I had to call the appointment people again to get the correct refund started. I won't know for several days if the refund actually goes through. The person that was scheduled to perform my service appeared to be a very polite and knowledgeable person except for issuing refunds. The person that actually got the correct refund started appeared to know his job. However, the people making the appointments do not seem to have a clue to what service people are asking for and for what service Best Buy supplies. I wasted a very large amount of time on this entire process and I still have a printer that needs service. I will not be going down this avenue for service in the future.

    My tech was Brice. He was very polite and friendly. Very, very helpful. He explained everything to me and didn’t treat me like an idiot because of my lack of technology. I would definitely want him again if I have any future problems.

    The agent tried to find the problem with the connection between my computer and printer. HP wasn’t available on line so he did the next best thing. My ISP isn’t very reliable but I am moving soon so am not going to go any further until after I move.
