The quality of the plastic is good and can sustain the high heat water as well. But I would recommend to take the water out just after the heating is done. There is no hard and fast rule for that but it will enhance the life of the product.

My son he come over and he like it so much. I am going to buy him one for his brithday .He say he can't wait for it.
