Nothing quite like a basic coffee maker

Nice and simple, easy to use, fits under my cupboard, and the coffee is hot. Don't need anything fancy, just simple coffee and this delivers.

Nice compact design, so it doesn't take up much room on the counter. Seems to work as it should and brews quickly.

A compact coffeemaker to fit under a tall cupboard was a happy find, and it had an auto-shutoff! The heating element under the pot didn't smell like the plastic is was made of, unlike some coffeemakers. I still use the pot and its 'hot plate" but had to resort to an older unit to actually BREW coffee that tasted like more than colored water. The "brew basket" is wide and the "brew holes" are few, tiny and all in the middle of the basket so the flavor is only extracted from the small center of the basket, even tho all the grounds get wet eventually. Not useful for making actual coffee but probably good for heating water for tea etc.
