However, some experienced issues with the belt, assembly process, and motor, while others reported problems with the incline function. I love my new treadmill. It’s simple to use & I love the built in fan with 3 speeds. I was able to put it together myself but needed help for a couple “2 person” jobs.

My family liked this treadmill. It does its purpose. It kept us active during the quarantine. It was easy to assemble and use. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the belt folded shortly after we started using it and we have to unfold it almost every time we use it.

Assembly requires two people...had a few issues with getting bolts lined up that would be difficult alone. Easy setup...bypassed the App and started using immediately!
Perfect for getting your steps in on -18 degree days!

Fair treadmill with difficult installation

I purchased this treadmill only for thr purpose of walking. For that, it was priced well and works well. The reason for the average score - set up/installation was BRUTAL. It required every bit of my strength to force entry of several bolts and screws. I believe this may be a known issue with this machine/model. Also, I would like a pause button. Sometimes I have to temporarily stop my walk, without wanting to reset my stats. This is a solid budget friendly machine with few frills. Also, it's not easy to move, even on the wheels. I've had other machines that were less bulky to move.

We’re glad that this equipment has been able to serve its purpose for you as a good walking treadmill, and are glad you have added it to your home workout routine.
Assembling any heavy duty equipment can present a challenge as the parts are solid and heavy to provide a quality machine once assembled. We recommend working together with a partner when assembling our equipment and following the 3D steps found on the free app, BILT, to make things a little easier.
Once you have your equipment completed and in the intended position, we hope you have great walks using this machine. Let us know if you ever have any questions by emailing [email protected].

New ProForm replaces an old one

This ProForm 505 replaces a decade old ProForm which need tread replacement and motor brushes. What a difference. The 505 is very smooth and quiet. We did not use the iFit features. Easy to bypass but you can not use a heart monitor or any programmed workout routines without subscription. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, but when complete the treadmill would hit one of the handles when folded up. I followed the directions precisely when tightening the arms but there is a mis-alignment. Since we do not fold the unit up after each use, it isn't a problems for us.

I’ve had it almost a month now and use it almost everyday and it works great! Haven’t had any issues and we set it up ourselves (I watched while my fiancé did LOL) works just as good as much more expensive treadmills!

If you are over 180lbs don't buy

We bought this a few years ago because it was supposed to be for people over 300lbs. I was overweight but not at 300lbs. I couldn't use it because every time I tried the belt/track would slip and I would end up twisting my knee or ankle or fall to the ground and be bruised up. If you want to walk at 2 miles an hour it is ok but you have to hold on or you will fall. It worked fine for my senior parents who are both under 180lbs but anyone over 190lbs and the track would slip and cause them to fall.

I love this treadmill. I love the iFIT platform. One thing I like about iFIT is that there are trainers when you want that extra push, and for the days you’re feeling a little more independent you can set it to manual and do your own thing. When in auto mode, it will auto-adjust the speed and incline based on the loaded workout. And if you’re feeling more or less motivated than the program, you can adjust your base speed and incline and the rest of your workout will be adjusted accordingly. One thing I dislike is no USB plugin for charging a tablet or phone… really hard to believe for an item sold in 2021! It folds up easily to save space, and I haven’t used it once as a clothes dryer.

My husband and I bsolutely love this treadmill. It is just what we needed to help manage our weight & stay in shape. We didnt opt in for the membership that comes with it as we'd rather workout at our own pace. This feature can be bypassed by holding the fitness button down for 30 sec or so which resets it to manual mode. We wouldve given a 5 star rating had it come with a manual to show you how use it in this mode, nevertheless its not hard to get it started and enjoy its benefits on your own. Proform is a good brand to buy, thumbs up.

We are so happy to hear that you are satisfied and happy with your treadmill. We value the experience our consumers share with us. Your fitness journey is our top priority.
Thank you for your feedback about needing instructions for manual mode. We will ensure that this information gets passed on to the coordinating team within the company.
Please know that the classes offered in the iFIT membership also have adjustable resistance levels to keep the pace at your individual preferences. These courses give you full immersive experiences into workouts throughout the globe, and the free membership trial should still be available to you to try it out for free throughout the grace period. We highly recommend taking advantage of that opportunity. Membership can then be canceled at any time if you still would rather elect for manual mode.
Thanks again for your valued feedback. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at [email protected].

We were really excited about purchasing a treadmill for our family. This is one of the best investments we have made in years. This ProForm treadmill comes with an exercise program (you can sign up for 30 days free of charge) or you can manually operate to your heart content! We love the built-in fan to help cool us down when we get a total complete workout! We also like the fact that It's easy to stand and move to any location.

This is a great treadmill. The iFit program that you can use with it really takes the boredom out of using it everyday as each day you can choose a different location to be at.
My only complaint is that when your workout finishes then I the machine comes to a dead stop rather than a gradual slowdown. If you’re not expecting it I can see how some people could trip and possible fall off the machine. Otherwise it’s a great treadmill.

Great value - don't like iFit requirement

I've used the machine a few times since purchasing. I would've given a 5 star review, but I don't appreciate having to work around the iFit login requirement. If I wanted a machine that requires a subscription, I'd have looked into Peloton. I really just wanted a manual treadmill. Fortunately, you can bypass this login requirement by holding the iFit button continuously for a few seconds. I keep the treadmill flat and haven't folded it so I can't speak to that functionality, but it seems practical for people who are worried about space or are using a dual-purpose space. My husband put it together and I'm not sure how long it took for him to assemble so I can't speak to ease of assembly. It seems sturdy and definitely a good value for the amount. I look forward to enjoying this unit for years to come.

I loved the price point for this treadmill, but wondered how it would hold up to both my husband and I using it everyday. It has exceeded our expectations. It is very sturdy and we've had zero issues with it. I would absolutely recommend this treadmill. We also have a ProForm elliptical which has also held up perfectly for the past two years with no issues. So I am definitely a ProForm advocate!
