Software update bricked the machine

The built in tablet/console froze while performing the update, and then after restarting the machine the tablet is completely bricked. It doesn't boot at all. And the treadmill is useless without the tablet/console, so the whole machine is now useless. The company will also provide pathetic support and not stand behind their product. They told me I would have to order a new console, despite the fact that they were the ones who pushed out a faulty update that rendered the machine useless. There is a class action lawsuit regarding this and similar issues. The machine itself would probably be a fine treadmill, but it's controlled by a super cheap console and unreliable software. And again, their support is woefully inadequate and won't help.

The technician came and said that the treadmill is in perfect condition but I'll need to replace the console which costs over 500 bucks. Do not buy any proform products they will not support their devices at all.

However, the console died so had a technician come out and they said that the console was completely dead. If you want a treadmill to work for a year and then die. This will be perfect for you. Proform wouldn’t do anything to make it right. Stay away from proform equipment .
