The good: Project cars is an excellent racing sim - I've been playing GT since PSX and in terms of straight-up realism...it's superior in nearly every aspect. From the racing physics, to every little car & elemental condition it's about as true to life as you'll get in a video game. Again coming from GT, having actual race damage as well as mechanical failures, and realistic audio (not cars that sound like a Dyson) is a breath of fresh air. The not so good: Where the game does fall a bit short is the car list, and perhaps track list comparatively - though they are adding onto it as they go. Considering the size of team behind it comparatively. There are also some frame-rate issues on the PS4 version with all the effects on, glare, rain and dirt can give a noticeable drop in FPS, especially with the post-processing turned up. It is very nice they included options for this though - typically something I'm used to in PC gaming only. Bottom Line: It's an excellent racing simulator, that while a bit spartan and has some kinks to be ironed out - offers a very rewarding experience for fans of this genre.

Played GRand Turismo for years so was pretty excited about a new game for ps4 to come out. The graphics a good, racing is good, soond is good, comparable to GT. But their is no way to customize cars, no two player, less features than GT. Overlall good drivers game and can play online. I would recommend the game.

Seriously, YT does this game NO JUSTICE... as far as visuals do not base your purchase off of YT reviews because trust me this game looks amazing. Learning how to drive is difficult but if you're used to Gran Turismo you shouldn't have a problem and understand the control scheme. It's very hard -for me- to get back on the road if you crash.. while using the controller but i love this game.. ps the darn menus are all over the place! My only gripe.

A racing game that asks only for drivers. Beautiful game is a given. Lacking in the infinitum customization of the cars themselves... The gameplay customization is where the game shines. If you want a SIM style racer for your next gen system, buy this. Too much SIM, turn that down in gameplay options.

Not the type of racing game that seems to rule the landscape these days in that you aren't running from the cops but more of a realistic feel. Pretty nice career mode. The game isn't perfect but it is far better than many others out there.

Project car is a must have for all you racing game fans out there. Graphics are gorgeous, gameplay is smooth, plenty of cars to choose from, tracks are fun and challenging. Overall I highly recommend this game to all people out there.

I am a Gran Turismo fan. Have been from the first game. But in all honesty this game definitely gives it a run for the money. Graphics are awesome, driving is better than GT to me, sound is insanely great. If I had to complain about anything it would be the clunkness of the UI. It just doesn't seem very intuitive at times.

This is a great driving game and you can drive any of the vehicles right from the start. You don't have to spend countless hours building up funds to drive the best cars like you do in other games. Very accurate physics and great visuals. Have only had it a couple of days but see myself playing for a long time to come!

It's not GT6. This game has a different feel to it. The realism and graphics are great. There are quite a few car choices but not even close to GT6. Who wants to wait until 2017 though?

For you SIM racers, this is a must, to much to list. Time trials, online, single player, weekly's, etc. Servers are awesome, graphics sweet. Full SIM, car setups, yellows, pits, etc. Its what I've always wanted, and I raced on iraceing for pc, this is my raceing game, ty.

fun right out of the package, lots to do with this game, the career part is great to go from easy driving skill levels to expert. great cars to choose from

Buy this game! Buy it NOW! Don't argue with me, there's no denying the absolute awesomeness of this game! The stunning visuals to the perfect controls. Unlimited customization of your car's tuning. I would prefer to play this with a wheel and pedal setup, but those can be spendy, especially if you get one with force feedback. NOTE: Logitech wheels WILL NOT work with the PS4. I'm new to the racing sim genre. What I mean by that is, I've never cared for them. Gran Turismo games were "horrible" in my opinion. I always liked arcade style racing games i.e. Ridge Racer, Need for Speed, Mario Kart etc. But Project Cars has made me turn 180! It blows GT games out of the water! Although I might just revisit GT games now and see what I've been missing out on.... So.....What are you waiting for?! GO BUY THIS GAME!!! You're welcome. ;)

Graphics, sound, car settings are all off the charts and everything is unlocked from the get-go. Really would have liked Ferraris and Lambos available, otherwise the car list is fine. This is sim racing done right, a lot of fun for sim fans!

This is a realistic driving game that can go as deep into the simulation as the player wants. Several different styles of cars to choose from, each with their own driving characteristics. Would probably work best with a steering wheel.

The best racing game i have seen yet. looks so realistic and if you play with an oculus and racing wheel it is like the real thing. the best game ever if you want an awesome racing game for track racing with many cars and tracks.

My sons were hoping Gran Tourismo 7 would be available soon, but since its release date is months and months away, we got this game to hopefully pacify the wait. They are no longer waiting for that game--this game is completely and utterly awesome! The game play graphics are absolutely stunning, and the track and car handling is suberb which is bounds above most other car racing games. You have to learn the track and cars handling to become a skilled driver. And all the details / damage that can occur when you crash just adds to the great-ness of the game. My sons will probably still want to get the next installment of GT, but now the question will be whether GT can match or exceed what this game has done! This is a great, great game!

From the start you can see this game is all about racing, I love the fast menus that will take you to race right away. It has various modes to play, free run, career, online, etc.. The game looks and feels fantastic! There are different camera views and I love to use the helmet view, it gets some time to get use to but is a different perspective. I think if you're a racing gamer its a must get! For me the best game you can buy is gran turismo, but this is very close to it as you can customize the car in depth.

fun game challenging but not too challenging to where you dont want to play cool grpahics

I waited for this title to go down from it's initial $59.99 price point, and grabbed it when it was down to $39.99. I'm happy I did, however this racing game has still left me wanting more. I enjoy playing it and racing, don't get me wrong, it's fun.... But it hasn't been my go to game yet. I actually think I prefer DriveClub (don't laugh, they recently made a ton of updates to the game and it's been fun). However, at $40, I will be getting my money's worth sooner rather than later...

this game is amazing. its an excellent replacement for gran turismo 6. it makes gran turismo 6 look like a cartoon by comparison. you also have a mind blowing array of settings for the tracks and cars
