Matt Damon and John Krasinski were fabulous! They included an excellent twist near the end.

I really enjoyed "Promised Land." The acting is superb, especially Matt Damon. The storyline involving fracking is also interesting. The Blu-ray release is very high quality as well, including good audio and video quality. There are not too many extras but the featurettes are very interesting. A very good movie and worth a purchase.

The movie establishes a plausible argument to have a dialog about our energy at all cost perspective. Is life really, Life liberty and the pursuit of as much money as possible in the feeble attempt to find happiness? Maybe there is a better way........

The return of the director and actor who gave us Good Will Hunting. While the story is a good one, and the movie is clearly a morality tale the story line becomes a bit predicable, and the twist in the firm with a character is something I did not "know for sure" was coming, but it was something I did think was possible. Overall not a bad watch, buy if you really enjoy Matt Damon, (who is a great actor as time passes on), or rent if you are not a huge fan.

Greedy corporate vs small farming community. Environmental issues are addressed. Excellent film.

Great actors and a nice story line. Downfall was very predictable.

A little slow moving but for us it was great to watch a movie that had parts of it filmed less than a block from our home! Great portrayal of a controversial subject.
