Admittedly, when I wanted to get a portable Blu-ray player, this was really the only available choice. Not that that's a bad thing in itself, but I expected greater product variety. As for the player: It does as it is advertised, The control layout is somewhat convoluted but serviceable, and most of the controls are on the remote. The viewing angle is very sharp, so you might not see everything if the screen is angled out of position with the rest of the player. The only major drawback is that it isn't truly portable, because it has no battery option--you have to plug it in no matter where you take it. But for a secondary unit, it does the job.

It is a good player. The picture is great as long as u dont try to use it in sunlight/outdoors. Then the picture is hard to see. It is better than other DVD players. Also if u close the lid or push stop. When u open lid to continue watching it takes you clear back to the beginning! Waste of time!

Used for a cruise and it worked perfectly for the kids. It even held a charge with power cord for a few minutes.

Definitely way ahead of its time. Just what I needed but unfortunately there was no DVDS available in stores.

The sound quality through the earplugs is excellent. The visual on the screen monitor is also excellent. While doing studies if you shut it off and return later and turn it back on,it starts back up right where you left off. Also, it will swivel some to get the best angle while lying down.Excellent product.

LOVE IT!!!! The bigger picture is just what i wanted and needed. I can watch all the movies i want and television shows. It is just wonderful I love it!

Great sound and video easy to use kid's love it.

It has played the 5 Blu-Ray discs we have tried in it thus far. My only complaints are on the markings for the most important buttons. They are not easily viewable. Also, the power button is very small (on the side) with a very cheap look and feel. I worry after some extended use that it might break. Also, the LED power indicator lights are very cheap looking.

My kids love this! Brings back memories when I was a kid and had a portable dvd player. Take it on road trips and kids enjoy watching there movies

I didn’t know this Blu-ray/DVD player was offered at a local store. I am so used to having to go to the Internet to get questionable reconditioned players which might not mesh with modern tv players. This stand-alone player is a joy to use.

I have not used this portable Blu-ray Player yet. I have tried to purchase it several times and it was out of stock. It has all the functions I was looking for. I know I will love it and it had a affordable price and top quality. Thank you Best Buy.

It is a good player for both DVD and Blu-Ray. It prevents the need and expense for having separate units for each format. It actually replaces my obsolete DVD player with a dying and totally obsolete battery pack.

I'm very glad I bought this portable Blu-ray (DVD and CD as well) player. If I want to watch a movie in bed or just go off somewhere by myself to watch something my wife wouldn't like, this makes it possible.
