Some examples: some movies wouldn’t play at all. These were brand new, no scratches, no fingerprints, etc. I was able to play both disks on my old portable player A TV series, it would play the first two episodes, but it couldn’t play the last two episodes, this happened with both discs, again, these discs were brand new, clean, undamaged One time I was watching a 90 minute show, and it completely stopped about 2/3 of the way through. I tried it on a different portable dvd player, and there was no problem playing the whole show, even though the disc was very old and a bit scratched up. Several discs played fine. Returned it.
